Lusanda Mbane to play Yvonne's rival on Scandal!

On Tuesday we told you that Scandal!'s Yvonne (Kgomotso Christopher) has a rival on the horizon and today we can reveal that the role will be brought to life by Lusanda Mbane.

Lusanda, who is well known for her roles on various high profile shows including SABC1's Abo Mzala, Generations and Dream World, plays Boniswa, Kingsley's (Hlomla Dandala) wife.

She doesn't have a clue about Kingsley's past with Yvonne so her arrival sets up a situation laced with secrets and lies.

She's described as a warm and friendly woman who possesses a 'mother earth' quality. She welcomes people into her life, but also commands a great deal of respect. She values loyalty over everything else - but should she be betrayed, she’s not afraid to show her ferocious side.

I respect Lusanda as an actress .I loved her role as the original Zodwa on Abo Mzala .I am glad the team did not go for the usual trophy wife type of actress .well done team scandal u have a winner here.
