Ashes to Ashes' Disebo (Shoki Mokgapa) has a nasty little suprise in store for her this week when her preacher husband pitches up to get her back.
His name is Otsile and he's played by the classic OLX dude, Kope Makgae, who'll be bringing his signature Tswyza to the role.
TVSA caught up with Kope to get the inside scoop on who he is and we discovered that he's worn the nickname Tswyza since high school when his friends gave it to him as a badge of honour. It refers to the flava that Kope brings to his roles, rapping and other occasions.
Kope explains: "If a party's boring and I come in, they say I add flavour to it. It also reflects on my roles - they give me simple dialogue and I put my Tswyza in it, I put my flavour into it. I use my own jargon and my own vernac, my own type of words. "
Which is exactly what he did as the character of Lungile in the OLX ads and why they kept using him again and again. He did a whopping number of OLX ads for and describes them as a gamechanger for his career.
His role on Ashes marks his third stint as a priest - he played a priest on two Mzansi Magic movies. He's also played a thug three times.
He played a thug on inKaba and Isidingo, where he was Bra Georgie's henchman, and he'll be playing a thug on Generations soon so lookout for him on that too.
