See who's landed the Umlilo open casting roles

The successful duo were only going to be announced on 7 June but the news has been released early.

The Umlilo open casting call roles have gone to...

Bill Mingos Chauke and Nozipho Chiliza.

They were chosen from 6000 people who applied for the roles in the show's recent search.

The pair will be playing the younger versions of Mnqobi and Cebisile Simelane on the fourth season of Umlilo, which starts on Monday, 27 June at 21h30, the week after Season 3 ends.

Bill comes from Joziburg and is an aspiring actor who has studied acting and Nozipho is a Durbanite who is new to the acting scene.

The brief for the casting was that the actors have to look like younger versions of Hamilton Dhlamini (Mnqobi) and Gcina Mkhize (Cebisile) ...

We're quite impressed by their similarity. If you put hair on Hamilton he could definitely look like Bill.
