What you don't know about Bold's Ivy

Bold and the Beautiful's Ivy has a secret past that we don't see on TV and that she's never spoken about.

Ashleigh Brewer who plays her has created a story that explains why Ivy moved from Australia to LA to join Forrester Creations.

Her story echoes Ashleigh's to some extent because Ashleigh also made a sudden move to America in 2013. She starred on Aussie soap Neighbours for five years, left Australia at the end of 2013 and by May 2014 she'd been signed by Bold.

"I've always played the relationship stuff with Ivy as if she had a really big break-up in Australia, which is why she's moved to LA," she told me when I caught up with her recently.

"It's never been told to me, it's never been said or written but I've always played that the main reason for her leaving Australia was because of a past heartbreak. I've been there and that does cause a big change in your life so that's how I justify her packing up and leaving her life so quickly."
