Cochran steps up as a Survivor legend!

Go Cochran!!! It crushes me to agree with Phillip but he was correcto when he called him a class act because he is.

He did everything purrrfectly and proved that he's the Ultimate Survivor Fan. His final strategic decisions were master strokes and his destruction of Eddie delivered the best moments of the season. Ha! It was pure bliss seeing him whacked at the final hurdle and Cochran's brilliant answers at the final Tribal were the best we've heard from anyone.

They also delivered welcome light relief in contrast to the gaping horror that struck proceedings.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah - it was truly the most terrible thing we've been put through during a final Tribal Council. EVER.

I knew that Brenda had been hurt by Dawn but I didn't realise the full extent until Dawn went berserk. Her grimace was literally a physical manifestation of Brenda's pain and humiliation and also exposed Dawn's LIE that she would have stayed on the show without her choppers because we all know that it's the furthest thing from the truth.

What's bizarre is that everyone always goes on about how people shouldn't take things personally on Survivor and yet it's clear that both the jury and audiences took things very personally on behalf of Brenda.

It raises mindbending questions like: why was their relationship different to other situations where someone's been betrayed? Did Dawn owe Brenda? Dawn's real loyalty lay with Cochran so what was wrong with her sticking to her alliance? Where do you draw the line??

The real clincher must have been Dawn's horrible lie. She would never have won the show but would have avoided the intense hatred if she'd admitted that Brenda saved her, thanked her and apologised for betraying her.

Maybe they could have mended some bridges, which they won't now - NO way. Brenda only said they're friends again to make Jeff happy but you could see it's never gonna happen.

You could also see that Malcolm spends too much time blow drying his hair because the ends are dry. His stint on Bold was hysterical - it's no surprise that they've never invited back.

Speaking of cringe... I was pleased to see that the Reunion Show ditched all the losers from proceedings and only focused on the jury. It always gets too embarrassing when Jeff tries to muster up enthusiasm for people no-one remembers.

Much better to focus on those we do and those who've become legends, like awesome Boston Rob and now Cochran who deserves legend status too.

Well done Cochran!  I would rate this season in my top 5, it was definitely up there as we ended with a satisfying result.  Some seasons are amazing and then one of the wall flowers win and you are like - Really?

The beauty of Survivor is that how you get to the end has a direct impact on your chances of winning, unlike public vote reality shows where the most popular one wins ie Malcolm.  Dawn suffered because of her constant crying and her betrayal of Brenda but they still sort of respected her.  Sheree's game was however completely dissed by the jury, and Im sure telling them all she was a millionaire right at the last TC would have switched off anyone who was still on the fence.

The new format for the reunion show is better, I agree Tashi, although I thought maybe Corrine deserved a quick chat and it was odd that absolutely zero mention was made of Brandon and his meltdown.

I kinda didn't like that they didn't talk to everyone on the jury, even Sherri didn't get a word in. Most of them didn't a mention even though they had big impact, as Q mentioned Brandon for one. Concetrated mostly on previous winners. I enjoyed this season. One of the best. Looking forward to the next. Congrats Cochran

I haven't commented on this season as I was accidentally spoiled, but it was interesting watching knowing that Cochran won to see how he did it - it was fairly predictable that he was going to win as a result of being the puppet master rather than playing the social game, but I didn't expect to also be the dominant one in challengs!  The key moment was definitely getting rid of Brenda as she was the only one left at that point who realistically could have beaten him.

On the new reunion format, apparently the reason they only had the jury members on stage was that Brandon wasn't invited to the reunion, and it would have been obvious that he wasn't there.  I don't mind that so much, because quite honestly, there's not much that those who were voted out early would be able to say, but Jeff could have at least spoken to all of them rather than giving Boston Rob even more publicity or wheeling our Richard Hatch and Rudy for no real reason.

It was well deserved by Cochran and the way he answered questions at TC was amazing. Dawn might have gotten at least 1 vote if she had spoken the truth at the final TC. Sherrie should have admitted that she was carried to the final and it was hysterical she talked about being a mom and having a business, I mean who cares???!! One of the greatest seasons and Cochran the Survivor legend.

Finally i can dish all the dirt on this trainwreck of a season. Yes, I said trainwreck

(so we dont get it twisted i still cant stand Cochran)

Firstly this was the most spoiled season of survivor since HvV:
2 weeks before the finale of Survivor Phillipines the accureate boot list and final 3 were already out and the haredcore crazy survivor fans were not pleased. they all placed their money on Sherri to win but alas they all realized at the merge that Cochran was going to win

"Fans vs Favorites":
LOOOOOOOOOL
more like "Idiots vs Castaways we vaguelly remember and Malcolm"
I know you will all agree the fans were useless and just plain dumb...as for the favourites raise your hand if Phillip is one of yr faves......yeah thought so, no one.

It was rigged:
Firstly Francessca or i it Franquesca?  whatever. she was brought back for the sole reasn of making her the first boot again. her return meant one thing either she is first boot again or she makes it to the end an wins it all. Jeff always wanted a Survivor nerd to win so he packed the cast with Cochrans friends eg Andrea and Dawn his enforcer, crazy Phillip and Brendan to give Cochran the best chance to win. Jeff hyped this season like nobody's business( he does that when a male fave of his wins he rarely hypes seasons won by females).
What about Eric fainting. he wasnt even asked about it. he was probably  but Jeffy wanted him ut to protect his chosen one

The Reunion Show
Was a farce, basically. FYI they will never do it again like that coz there was a backlash from viewers and the cast. Jeff tried to explain that it was coz the stage was too small. Audience members got more attention than the actual cast. felt so bad for them
As for the preview of Blood vs Water, i was like What the actual f*ck, that didnt tell me anything (ps they will never to another preview like that until season 31 coz that season is special u actually couldnt do a preview)

Breandagate or is it Dawngate
Dawn brought this on herself but she actually received hate mail and death threats from fans which was not called for. i too was upset but people took it overboard and even threatened to harm her kids. she had to shut down her twiitter and facebook coz of it.

P.S Brenda is now a Mom and a MILF follow her on instagram  https://www.instagram.com/brendalowe_/ no spoilers i promise

This my friends is not even in the top 15 best survivor seasons. the horror that was season 22-24 continued in season 26

Tashi i respectfully  disagree with you..... playing against a cast where at least 10 of them are idiots does not make one a survivor Legend ( Denise is a survivor legend i mean she attended every tribal and still made it to the end to win the whole thing)

Amanda Kimmel got married by the way
