Why DJ Arch Jnr shouldn't have won SA's Got Talent

How do you feel about DJ Arch Jnr winning SA's Got Talent? I've found myself feeling iffy about it because I feel sorry for the other finalists.

The trouble with DJ Arch winning is that the main reason he won is because of his cuteness factor. Which is a cool and positive thing BUT it isn't a talent. Playing the decks would be a talent if he really DJ'd the music but he obviously doesn't and could never be expected to because he's only three.

The act is all about his cuteness but the show isn't called SA's Got Cuteness, which is why I don't think he should have won. As the winning announcement was made I felt emotional for the Street Stylers and Isabella Jane because both acts are about a very specific talent and it's clear that they've both put so much into trying to master them.

Street Stylers emphasised it in their pre-performance interview when they spoke about how much sleep they'd lost preparing and rehearsing etc. as they honed their skills, which DJ Arch clearly didn't do because he couldn't. It left me feeling that things turned out unfairly for the other finalist acts because ultimately they didn't stand a chance and yet they all fitted the requirements of the show more.

Also, none of them have already made an international name for themselves whereas DJ Arch has already had lots of exposure both here and internationally so he arrived on the show with an already established following and people who knew about him, which isn't fair either because it gave him a distinct advantage when it came to the voting.

Of course the dilemma is that he's so young and no-one wants to crush the dreams of a three-year-old which complicates things in many ways. It leaves no room for him to have come second or third or for people to criticise his performance or for the act to be treated in the same way as the others.

It's a problem with having such young children involved in the show because they're fragile, no-one wants to hurt them and they're cute. No-one stands a chance against them. Next season's finalists will no doubt hope that there isn't anyone below the age of 16 in the final.

My feelings exactly. Cute as he is, he should have never been put through to the semis. I sort of knew that he would be the one winning the competition before the announcement but I still had hope.

His dad should have let it remain a hobby. Now he's going to have to make appearences and get paid for them ie he's going to be working. A child should not have to do that. Dad should have allowed him to do it at home when he felt like it. I wanted either Isabella Jane or the rapper to win (I'm sorry I cannot remember his name right now). Isabella should make an opera cd. Her voice sounds heavenly when she sings opera. And then on weekend or holidays she must do a show with Rosie alone. Uyandikama uRosie. That puppet is hella funny.

I disagree with u guys about him, yes he is cute but that was a pure talent. the little boy understand music, he gets those bits and he really understood when he was on stage, he perfomed.I am sorry guys but the kid is born with that talent

What a talent should be like if you are not in the Djaying department you won't understand the young boy derseved to win guys understanding the effects and how to select the next song that needs someone who can be able to differentiate the young Dj has done it we should be proud of DJ AJ am sorry guys bt the boy knws wt he was doing its all about passion n love for something 3year old Think again the boy was on top of his game his father might be the one teaching him all that staff bt well it every talent needs someone who will direct it his dad believed in him and he won. Congrants to DJ ARCH JNR besides one of the judges is a DJ so he understood that wat the 3year old did was so amazing.

When Tats asked the judges to pick who they think should win, none of them picked him as the winner. I have been around DJs and what he played was a premix. He did not literally mix the tracks on the stage, sure in a few years he would be able to hone his skills, he is still too young to be able to do that.

Some1 on twitter pointed out that AC cable was not connected to the DJ mixer wen DJ ARCH jnr performed during the finale but the DAD quickly shut down the rumours of foul play ,he says normally wen you use a computer u hv 2 options wen it comes to audio out.it is either u go with the computers audio out or the controllers audio out .I usually use the controllers audio out abd it gave us buzzing sound so they went with the computers audio out .so the little boy was mixing .but this mix up will taint the competition and its credibility cz ppl are nvr gonna take it crzly . I wonder wat happened to last year's winner ,wat a lovely tallented girl but she has not released anything evn today .

If it was really Premixed by his Dad, does he really deserve the crown or does his father does?

Do we really have to be jealous all the time and question everything. On that note: we are different people gifted differently and some kids are just so amazing that they get it easy when being taught because of their IQs,so that was a natural talent even if he was taught, its so amazing for a 3 year old to grasp so fast compared to his age group. So lets appreciate natural talent and high IQs that some kids are born with.
