How did you learn about sex?
I've just been reminded of my sex-ucation because
the star of my enlightenment is on Afternoon Express
this week.
I had a good chuckle when I saw that Josh Lindberg and Zuraida Jardine are guesting on Thursday because Josh was instrumental in teaching me the facts of life. He went from being a sperm (in diagram form) to being born to being part of the Lindberg family within the space of this book and album combo...
It was excellent - I remember loving it.
Dawn Lindberg was at the centre of it - she co-wrote it and also wrote and sang the songs with Des. The companion album punctuated the events in the story which followed the births of Des and Dawn's children Josh and Adam.
The music was very memorable too... it still sticks with me, one song in particular that went: *Think quite high voice*:
Who am I?
Where did I begin?
How did I arrive on earth and where have I been?
Ha - quite profound! I think Josh or Adam sang it. I've been browsing to see if it's still available to buy - I thought they might have released it on CD but it doesn't look like they have. The only copy I've managed to find is on bid or buy.
My mom bought it for me when I was about 10 or 11 and simply gave it to me. I can't remember what she said as she handed it to me but I felt pleased and listened to the album over and over until I grew out of it.
