It was all fun and games until someone tripped.

The 15th annual BET Awards went down in Tinseltown on Sunday night (28 June) and delivered awards in 24 categories.

The ceremony will be airing on BET and BET2 on Tuesday night (30 June) at 20h10 so please don't continue reading if you don't want to know who won before watching.

If you do want to know, read on!...

Janet Jackson was the headline winner of the night when she won the Ultimate Icon Award while Ghana's Stonebwoy won the Best International Act: Africa award, leaving South Africa's The Soil and AKA out in the cold unfortunately.

Other notable events to lookout for during the TV broadcast: Diddy tripped-a-stumble while performing, Rihanna threw cash at BET's President of Programming Stephen Hill (which was staged) and the cast of TV series Black-ish and Empire performed.
