Survivor: Sneaky Pete upstages Russell's limp muscle

Russell's snuffing was as predictable as a Predictable Thing so the real action of Monday's Survivor was the emergence of Pete when he flushed out the idol. His sneaky move of annihilating any possibility of trust between RC and Abi was classic and 100% original.  My only concern is that it happened to RC McBigNaturals.

I was iffy about her at the start - concerned she's too cocky - which some of you felt too - but now, with time, I'm finding her more confident. I particularly like how confidently she flings her hair back to show off her bikini - there's something about it that's empowered instead of vain:

She isn't a match for Pete or Abi though because she's clearly too trusting and not nearly cynical enough so I see her getting trampled unfortunately. This is my dilemma because I really like her but I'm also very impressed with Pete's hoodwinkery. It was nuts how neither RC nor Abi suspected him - they both trust him so much they haven't even considered it could have been him yet he's the only other person Abi's told about the idol.

Of course one can't give him too much credit too soon because his success could simply be because they're too dense to investigate what happened let alone work out what went on. No matter what happens next it's definitely going to have an impact on Tandang though - specifically when they lose their first challenge and everyone starts getting desperate about who to trussst.

It's made me wonder about whether I'd trust Pete as blindly as Abi does and I've realised that I can't remember what he looks like when I'm not looking at him directly, ha! As for trust... I'd trust him as little as I'd trust every other survivor but I wouldn't suspect that he's capable of such subterfuge.

Catch my Survivor chatterings every Monday after the show.

Hmm still don't care for RC so not really bothered that she got played. She's miss Bossy Pants and Abi is playing the hot tempered Latina.
Otherwise yes it's been a bit predicatble this season. Don't see how the remaining two blue tribe people can go much further unless theres a majot tribe shuffle. I like both of them though.

The Ulongoing of Matsing is officially complete....they really sucked as a tribe. I dislike Abi but she is good for television. She is turning out to be a villain and she is not forcing it. At the moment Tandang has the most interesting characters. I dont really care for Matsing or Kalabaw.

hey @Wonderland the predictability ends here, now the fun begins Alliances will be cracked, new ones formed, blindsides, idols, talks about loyalty, Final 4 deals brokered left right and centre, Epic Tribal councils, confusion, and Jeff
