Eventually! It should have happened over a decade ago and now thankfully it has. SABC3 has cancelled 3Talk.

Press Release

After 12 years of continuing the country's conversations every afternoon on SABC3, 3Talk will be coming to an end on the 20th of April, 2015.

The show has enjoyed an unprecedented run on South African television and has been fortunate to be a part of viewers' daily routines for over a decade.

After such a long journey with the show, Noeleen Maholwana-Sangqu decided a year ago that she would be hanging up her 3Talk shoes at the end of the current season.

"When we started the show, I could never have imagined that we would have such an enduring relationship with our viewers. I have had the most fabulous 12 years on 3Talk. It's been an amazing adventure which has brought so much fun and meaning into my life, but after a lot of thought, I think it's time for me to bid farewell," remarked Noeleen.

“We are sincerely grateful to Noeleen for her incessant support, commitment and professionalism over the last 12 years. Noeleen has moved, inspired and empowered our viewers through the many episodes of 3Talk. It is the end of an era” said Aisha Mohamed, SABC3 Head of Bouquet.

“SABC3 viewers can expect the channel to keep in line with its lifestyle offering post the last season of 3Talk. The channel will continue to bring viewers entertaining variety and lifestyle content which will be communicated closer to launch date,” continued Aisha.

Keep watching 3Talk every afternoon at 4pm on SABC3, as we wind down towards the end of an era.

You started something gave it a name and life, most South Africans are critics with no initiative they are Barren  when it comes to talent they sit on their brains and good at judging others they can't even offer a support.

i liked what you created and today we know you if it wasn't for 3talk.
some people gained insight. Some are stupid angry birds. some just like you for being you.
I don't think 3 talk must go but it needs a revamp, change here and there, this show is catering for a certain market not for Bo clever with big mouths.
if I had superman powers I would not let you go.
3 talk needs Noeleen with a good supportive team who are creative and energetic.
It's a pity I don't have money now but I would buy it.

I think what we need is a show like the view where we have four presenters I think it will be fun imagine Sonia Motaung, Mapaseka, Kgomotso Matsunyane and maybe Somizi or Khanyi in the mix
