Big Brother Mzansi looks set to become an annual phenomenon. It's been renewed for 2015 and a new crowd of housemates will move in on Sunday, 29 March 2015.
As per usual the show's on a search for people who are crazy enough to be locked up - for 56 days this time.
Who can audition?
If you are a citizen/legal resident of South Africa and 21 years of age or older (as of 01 January 2015), then you can audition for the show.
Audition details
This year the auditions will take place simultaneously in Durban, Cape Town and Johannesburg on Saturday, 31 January and Sunday, 1 February 2015.
Auditions in Durban will be held at the BAT Centre (45 Maritime Place); in Cape Town at the Cape Town Lodge (101 Buitengracht Street) and in Johannesburg at The Pyramid Venue in Eloff Street.
Registration starts at 08h00 and closes at 15h00 on both audition days. If you are registered by 15h00 you will be auditioned. Auditions are on a first come/first serve basis and you must take a valid South African ID document with you.
Please note: This year you can either audition as an individual or with a partner.
You can pair up and audition with anyone… your brother, sister, cousin, boyfriend, girlfriend, neighbour, gym buddy, golf partner, work mate… anyone you want as long as they meet the entry requirements and want to participate.
The moolah
The prize money hasn't been confirmed yet but word from Mzansi Magic is that it won’t be less than R1 million, and it could be as high as R2 million.
