Word of Hope and Liam’s broken engagement gets out when she arrives at the event sans her ring.

Desperate to find Rick, Maya arrives at the HFTF event ready to express her undying love for him. Maya is well aware that her future with Carter is at stake if she reveals the truth about where her true feelings lay, but is willing to risk it for Rick.
Meanwhile, Rick whisks Caroline off to a surprise destination. Knowing that Hope is still hurting over her breakup with Liam, Wyatt offers his love and support.

Maya’s heart is broken when she learns from Hope and Wyatt the reason why Rick is not at the HFTF event. Not believing what she’s been told, Maya sets out to get the truth straight from Rick.
As Hope and Wyatt bask in the success of the event, Liam arrives just in time to witness the closeness between the two. After accusing Wyatt of being the cause of the broken engagement, Liam asks Hope for another chance.

Tensions rise between the Spencer brothers when Liam issues another warning for Wyatt to stay away from Hope. Hope warns Brooke of what their relationship will be like if Bill continues to stay in the picture.
Brooke begins to question a future with Bill when Hope reminds her of the effect that it would have on Katie. An apology from Bill gets Katie to push her resentment towards him temporarily aside for the sake of Will.

The Hope for the Future Diamond makes its debut in front of a full crowd at the Forrester Creations boutique. Pam sparks the interest of the security guard, Charlie, who’s been hired to protect the small wonder.

Bill apologizes profusely to Katie and asks if they can move forward in their marriage. After much conversation, Hope and Liam come to an understanding about where they stand in each others’ lives.
