If you know the music of Diana Ross and the Supremes, the Jackson 5, the Temptations, the Four Tops, Gladys Knight and the Pips, Smokey Robinson, Martha Reeves and the Vandellas and Stevie Wonder (just to name a few), then you know Berry Gordy Jr.

He is the founder of the legendary Motown Records and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee behind all those superstars and their Billboard hits.

On Thursday 21 August from 20:55 on TLC Entertainment (DStv 172) the music icon talks about his life growing up in Detroit, his early experiences as a songwriter and, of course, the rise of Motown. Plus, Berry opens up about his love affair with Diana Ross, their behind-the-scenes stories and spinning out some of music's most recognizable number one hits.

After losing her brother to leukemia, supermodel and entrepreneur Cindy Crawford learned to find the power in pain. She talks candidly about what her ex-husband, Richard Gere, taught her, the perfect storm that resulted in her rise to becoming a top model, and how she really feels about aging.

Plus, Cindy opens up about her best friend and husband, Rande Gerber. Don’t miss the revealing episode on Thursday 28 August at 20:55 on TLC Entertainment (DStv 172).

On Thursday, 28 August at 20:00 Oprah’s candid interview with Tyler Perry will premiere. At his home in Los Angeles, the two friends discuss his life and career as a writer, producer, director and actor, including his creative process, how his experiences have influenced his craft, and the stories behind OWN's first two scripted shows, The Haves and the Have Nots and Love Thy Neighbour.

Plus, Tyler opens up about his past, engagement rumours, his friendship with Whitney Houston and how he really feels when he reads reviews by his critics.
