I am definitely a summer person. In fact, I feel the need for a beach holiday soon, daydreaming of toes in the sand and cocktails! Hoping summer can hurry along so we can all start moaning about how hot it is :-) 

Until then, there is one way to stay warm this winter. Get cozy under a pile of blankets and tune in to etv’s upcoming season of exciting shows!!

What’s in store for us? I am most excited about the much anticipated new season of SA’s Got Talent. The judging panel got a shake up when it was announced that DJ Fresh, Lalla Hirayama and Tats Nkonzo would join Shadow Twala as new judges.
 

With DJ Fresh

I chatted to DJ Fresh who expressed so much passion for SA’s Got Talent. DJ Fresh is not looking at this as just a TV Show. He said that “This is about changing someone’s life”. He is extremely passionate about uplifting someone who otherwise may not have a shot."It's exciting to be apart of a show like this", he added. 

Interesting fact: DJ Fresh was asked to be on Survivor SA!! He had to decline because get this – he has to be booked one year in advance for any gig!! How crazy? Well done to etv for clearing a gap in his schedule. Here I was hoping that we could just book him on a weekend quickly to come DJ at a party. Not so much. Clearly, this is a very busy man! 
 

With Khanyi Mbau and Lalla Hirayama 
 
Lalla Hirayama will approach the new judging gig with a strong focus on the youth. Lalla shares Fresh’s passion for using this show as a stepping stone and helping hand for talent that would otherwise be invisible. “I’m excited to see what the SA talent pool has to offer!” she said. Personally, I’m excited to see what she’ll be wearing every episode!! I love that her style matches her personality – playful and effortless.She looked stunning in this David Tlale creation. 

Khanyi Mbau returns for season 2 of Katch it with Khanyi which is one of two talkshows in the line-up. Ekse, Let's talk features 3 friends, Masechaba Lekalake, Tol Ass Mo and Refilwe Modiselle, who get together and discuss hot topics.
