Andile Ncube returns to Primetime TV as host of X Factor SA

After heated speculation on Twitter on Thursday, TVSA can reveal that the host of the new X Factor South Africa is ... Andile Ncube!

Andile makes a comeback to Primetime presenting on SABC1 after moving behind-the-scenes six years ago when he became executive producer of LIVE.

Andile hosted LIVE from before it existed. He hosted it's predecessor One and hosted LIVE until 2008 when he turned producer. He also moved into sports presenting on Soccerzone and Soccer 411.

And now SABC1 have revealed that they think he has the u ongasolveki to headline X Factor when it starts in September.

Does he? Is he the right choice?

What a perfect fit - i was shaking in my boots with worry thinking they will use Bonang especially since she's been telling the Beehive on twitter that something big will happen around June....they couldnt have found a better host! I hope the judges are just in the same taste...

Right choice...Andile is so so perfect for this. Wow i am so haaaaaaaaaaaaaappppy about this choice. True Taz we can hold out breath that the judges will also not be a disappontment. No Anele, No sis Ribs and No Mkhize plsssssssss.

So! ... Just heard that the judges aren't going to be at the auditions on Saturday. They'll only be judging the next round of auditions. This first round is the sifting round of auditions (as they do with Idols) where auditionees sing for selectors who decide whether who goes through to the judges round of auditions.

Yes Taz, i am also happy that its not Bonang or Ms Pearl Thusi. Those two are all over the tv. Andile is a great choice.
