In celebration of women’s month, ME & MY GIRLS (a division of Canoc Productions) together with MTVBase present an outrageously fun, seductive and electrifying experience with world renowned heart throb Trey Songz in concert live this August, and announce the local line-up for the concert.
Commencing his two-legged SA tour at The Wave House in Durban on Friday, 26th August 2011, Trey Songs then hits The Dome in Jozi the following day, Saturday 27th August.
The line-up includes a range of top SA performers and a few new faces on the scene. International award nominees and SAMA winners, super group Teargas will support Mr Trey Songz, in addition to the super multi-talented performer Zakes Bantwini. SA’s own pretty boy Mario Ogle will support on the Durban leg while a range of other performers include Channel O Award winner Ferdy Ferd, DJ trio Dope Jocks, newcomer Truey Donatello and the infamous ‘Reps’ dance crew will hold it down as the local support.
CANOC frontman Glen Netshipise comments, ‘The market is so saturated with the same performers doing every gig that it becomes predictable. We decided to go with 2 favourites but then spice it up with a list of fresh new faces. By giving these younger performers a platform of this magnitude, we offer the SA market something a little different from the norm ’.

Dj Naves and Sphectacula are at the forefront of hosting parties building up to the Trey Songz concerts. They are kicking off the tour parties this weekend in Da La Sol and Durban and will bring it back to Johannesburg next week.
