Justin Bieber BELIEVE Tour Delivers

Being the liker of things I am, I joined all the Beliebers yesterday and headed off to Soccer City to experience Justin Bieber’s Believe Tour. The sold out concert woke up kids all ages. The way they were running around and screaming, they were like animals; nevertheless, I found myself dancing to some Bieber tunes as young girls wept uncontrollably and screamed in ecstasy. Word is, some of them fainted at the Golden Circle. Sigh!

Luckily our complimentary tickets were not so far from the stage and we could see all the action. Unluckyly I didn’t have the Samsung Galaxy Camera. Standing right next to us was this 10 year old girl who burst into tears the minute Justin emerged in a white suit on stage.

Where i was seated

Tucked in a blue long jacket next to her mom, hair tied back in a pony-tail the little miss stood still, clutched her small little hands together as if the only reaction she could afford was tears when a mass of other tweens broke into complete insanity!

Soccer City: Packed to the rim

Justin serenaded his mom on stage for Mother’s Day. And I must agree, the boy’s voice has matured and the number of adults I saw who were not accompanying kids was quite exceptional. Justin is a true superstar. The Bieber fever shall prevail!

Wowser, you were b-b-b-b-brave Tazzz ! - having a chuckle at the 10-year-old you've so perfectly described.

I was so irritated by eNews' coverage of the concert yesterday I almost eyerolled my face off!

In case you didn't see it ... they had a report about how Jozi traffic had been diverted for the concert and then some miserable guy from city events or something went on and on about how concert goers must be well behaved and that drinking and disorderly behaviour "won't be tolerated" - as if Bieber fans have a reputation for smashing up stadiums.

It was the most ludicrous thing - if the authorities were going to send dire warnings then you'd think it would be when a wild rock band's in town but no, instead they were directed at Bieber fans for no reason - it made no sense whatsoever.

Also, eNews' report was very poorly done because it didn't reflect on behaviour at the Cape Town concert. They mentioned that 50 000 fans attended the Cape Town concert but didn't say whether they'd been well behaved or not - as far as I know they were so they should have pointed this out to reveal how pathetic the "doom and gloom" warning from the authority guy was.

All in all the coverage came across as an overly judgemental parent.

I saw that report Tashi and it was really pathetic. We didn't hear of any incidents at the Cape Concert. eNews sometimes just enjoy negative stories for no apparent reason. Like you say Tashi, the authorities should have qualified their statement! Sounds like you had fun skeem. Great article, lol at the 10-year old

Awww, if my little girl was 9 I would definitely have had an excuse to go, but then I wish I went anyway:(. I've been a believer since the youtube days. LOL @ the lil girl you described tazy, it must have been funny expressions all around you. And yes big up to the parents who took their kids, that's the way to go!. @Tashi, from the report bits I read, none were positive and made me quite angry as a belieber myself :D . Jealous adults who don't remember how it was to play are sad.
