BunduInn Spring Day Explosion was on Fire!

It felt like hell on earth as a huge inferno broke out in the parking lot at the annual Bundu Inn Spring Day Music Explosion. DJ Vetkuk vs Mahoota and Pepsi’s annual party came to a heated chaotic halt after it was announced on stage that a car was set on fire…and then it got even more heated in the lot where thousands of party animals have parked their cars as the fire caught on to eight more expensive cars parked for ‘safety’.

Imagine a stampede of party goers running in the parking lot to save their cars from an angry inferno. DailySun.mobi reports that among other cars that got torched was a VW Golf 4, a Mazda Midge, a VW Microbus and a BMW 320i, and all fire-fighters could do was watch as other cars blocked them from getting to the blazing automobiles.

It also didn’t help that the party animals were trying to extinguish the fire with alcohol. It’s also reported that one Mercedes Benz owner collapsed at the sight of his motorcar on fire, right in front of his girlfriend.

Twitter hashtags such as #CantWatch, #LetItBurn and #OnFire took centre stage. Hearsays are that a few rape cases were reported after the chaos, a few injuries, sixteen cars reported stolen and fortunately no death reports.

Did someone do this on purpose? Was it an accident? Were you there? What happened to those guard-boys you usually give your money to watch your car at concerts? Share…

Oh no..seems like sh!t happened. I think its probably a veld fire caused by a cigarrete that started the fire.I hear the cars were parked on dry grass..its possible that the grass where the cars were parked caught fire and then the cars..

This was really bad and those who lost their cars are really shattered at this stage. I doubt it could have been an accident. It was just an inside job with guards involved.

Maybe it is much better to attend this evening events and leave the car home..imagine MB burning to ashes damn

Thank God I've outgrown dibash and all these crowded events.

I went to Macufe with a friend of mine and on the last day of the event we decided to attend the some dj extravaganza bash we had VIP tickets and parked in the VIP area thinking we were safe, it was pouring that night mara being likers of things we braced the rain. We had handbags with our valuables in it and decided to put them in the boot of the car we hired.
someone broke into our car and stole our handbags, with cellphones, ids, cards, bus tickets etc, we spent the whole night in a police station, making calls with a public phone to the banks to stop the cards, we ended up paying more for the car cos the window was broken, I swore on that day gore NO MORE

@Toody...you are probably right. I don't think anyone would purposely do this. It could've been a cigarette plus these smokers never care where they throw their stompies.

I remember years ago, while living in CT the same thing happened. There was fire that grazed some parts of Table Mountain due to a cigarette bud that the smoker threw out the window nje. The damage it caused
