I know I say this every week but this show just can't get any better. This season is superior by far to the previous 2.
It started off with Sean being called to a funeral home. A psycho employee had been amputating limbs from the dead and had used them to build a new body. McNamara/Troy were approached by the owner to reattach the limbs to the correct bodies. Sean was reluctant to take on the job.
Christian meets with old flame Gina. You might remember him meeting her in a sex-addicts meeting. She claimed to be having his baby and the baby came out black! Sean tried to adopt the baby but the biological father ended up winning custody. Gina turned out to be HIV+.
Gina returnsChristian tells Gina that he's in financial trouble and can't support her anymore. She throws a hissy-fit and doesn't believe him.
Gina then goes to visit Julia and tells her how she admires her and how much she looks up to her. She convinces Julia to invest her divorce setlement in a hotel that she's renovating. Julia convinces Gina to make it a surgery recuperation centre.
Julia and Gina try to sell the idea to Sean, Christian and Quentin. Only Quentin is interested but Christian tells him to shut up. Only later does Julia realise their financial situation.
Sean realising the dire financial position of the practice, goes to an old-age home and advertises. He and Christian also decide to take on the mortuary job as it's going to pay well.
Liz decides to resign since there aren't any patients and no money to pay her. She later tells Sean and Christian that she's taken on a job with Julia at her new centre.
Meanwhile back at the construction site, Julia realises that Gina is back to her old tricks and is paying contractors with sex. Confrontation ensues. Sean visits Julia at the site and tells her how proud he is.
One of the old woman from the old age home signs up for surgery but Sean can't continue as he sees how wrong and dangerous it is.
The mortuary psycho is caught and wants to meet Sean. Sean agrees reluctantly because they have been unable to identify the head on the the constructed body. After the meeting Sean finds out that it was the psycho's sister. She died in a car accident and he's kept the body ever since. I lost track of the story line a bit but it seemed like he was having sex with the constructed corpse.

I was a bit surprised that the Kit and carver storyline did not continue. But it looks like it's going to build up into something big. And it has to happen soon otherwise Sean and Christian are not going to have a practice anymore!
