Binneland 30 March 2014

The tenth season of Binnelanders starts on kykNET tonight (31 March) and the season marks the introduction of a crop of big name new arrivals.

Egoli stalwart and thespian Brümilda van Rensburg joins the action in late April, in the role of Jana du Preez. You may have seen Jana mentioned in the Binnelanders April teasers?

Sonja Heroldt - who hasn't changed her style in three decades and doesn't age a day - also arrives on the scene soon. She plays herself and will be guesting in a story arc that runs for approximately two weeks. She arrives in early April.

Three other characters join them.

Here's a close-up on the four new characters who'll arrive throughout April as the tenth season unfolds:

Jana du Preez

Played by: Brümilda van Rensburg

Jana du Preez is a publicity guru and a force to be reckoned with. She wants the Binneland Kliniek contract to prove a point. But what is the point? And why is she willing to take this huge chance in her life at this point in time?

She arrives on Monday, 28 April.

Margot Brink

Played by:
Amalia Uys

Margot is Jana's assistant. She's a fierce thirst-for-knowledge kind of girl who refuses to leave any stone unturned when it comes to Jana and her business.

She arrives on Tuesday, 29 April.

Krige Vos

Played by:
newcomer Arno Greeff

Krige Vos, a young guy with a massive knowledge of cars, bikes and everything that moves with wheels. He is a petrolhead with principles.

He arrives on Tuesday, 1 April.

Frankie Cloete

Played by: newcomer Andrew Euan White

Frankie is a smalltown boy who's moved to the big city to grab every opportunity he gets to make it in this world.

Ambitious, confident and well-spoken, he will land up in Binneland Kliniek - with a no nonsense attitude to be reckoned with.

He arrives on Wednesday, 30 April.
