I Want To Sing Gospel returns to SABC2 on Thursday, 27 March and will be back with an all new line-up.

Series stalwart Lindelani Mkhize will be back but in a new role. The Joyous Celebrator, who was the main judge on previous seasons, won't be judging this season. Instead he takes on the role of talent scout and music mentor to the contestants. He'll be putting the contestants through their paces, preparing them to face the three new judges.

On the judging panel are Sipho "The Big Fish" Makhabane, owner and founder of Big Fish Music. Sipho, who first broke onto the gospel music scene in the mid-1990's, has been featured on Joyous Celebration numerous times and is currently on a mission to unearth new talent.

He's joined by gospel singer and songwriter Ntokozo Mbambo and gospel music producer Tshepo Ndzimande, owner of Zuz'muzi Music.

On the hosting front, Thabo Mdluli, who hosted the show for the first two seasons, won't be back. He's handing over to chickdom. Salamina Mosese, who's previous hosting credits include presenting SABC2's gameshow Crazy Games, takes over as host.

The season will air every Thursday at 19h30.

I like worshipping Ntokozo. #thatsit.

I have a feeling it'll be like listening to Beyonce speak. Such anti-climax

This show was supposed to air on Saturday, during the week people are busy with soapies at that time. Anywhere we shall see how it pans out.

@Lejazz u are 100% correct. We are too busy with abo Isidingo,Scandal and Generations during da week. Saturday would have been better. I also neva heard about the auditions. But honestly guys, these singing competitions are becoming a bit boring for my liking, mainly becoz the winners just dissapear after winning the titles. When last did u hear from Lungisani and Nhlakanipho ( the previous winners)..I last heard from them when they released their debut album, apart from that nothing... I think that they are not marketed enough. Same goes for Musa(idols season 9) winner. As for the new host Salamina, i like her. She is very talented. But i believe her husband Howza would be a better host, his got a lot of energy. I loved him on BigUp.
