SABC3M-Net Series Reality
M-Net
The latest season of The Voice premieres on DStv this Saturday (1 March) but
not on M-Net Series Reality. It's moving to M-Net for the season instead - further confusing the mess that's currently surrounding M-Net and the M-Net Series channels.
As I'm sure you're noticing daily, there's no consistency to the four channels at all. One moment a reality show's on M-Net Series Reality where it
should be and the next it's on M-Net because the channel airs blockbuster shows. DStv and M-Net really need to make up their minds about what all the channels are!
So that's the situation. The Voice will now be on M-Net, on Saturdays from 17h00 to 19h30. The season premiered in the US this week, on Monday (24 February) so we're very close to the American broadcast.
Things start with the Blind auditions as per usual and judges Shakira and Usher return to replace Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green for a second time. Christina's on hiatus and Cee Lo's ditched the show for good.
Of course Blake Shelton's going nowhere. Grrrr, he really irritates me a
lot - he's gotten way too full of himself. Thankfully Adam Levine also never goes anywhere and continues to remain cool.
Here's a trailer for the season ... doesn't have much in it by way of new stuff but just sort of puts one in the mood:
