I've always loved Britney Spears. Her voice continues to blow my hair back and I still
loathe Kevin Federline for how abusive he was to her. It might have been a long time ago but I refuse to forget and never-never will.
Also, I found her
fascinating when she judged on the X Factor - to the extent that I've stopped watching the show now that she isn't judging anymore.
If you feel the same as me you'll be pleased to know that she'll be back on telly for a once-off documentary. It's called I Am Britney Jean and it's coming up on E! Entertainment on Sunday, 26 January at 23h00.
It's movie length and it follows her as she prepares for her two year stint in Las Vegas. She's moved to Las Vegas to perform a new show called Britney: Piece of Me and the documentary follows her as she prepares for it, rehearses etc. She also shares her personal life in it apparently, through interviews and also footage of her with her children.
I'm hoping that appalling agent/handler of hers is out of the scene completely - that sycophant Jason Trawick who tried to marry her so he could control her more. I'm also hoping the documentary isn't overly glamorised. I really want to see something gritty and honest.
It's difficult to tell which way it'll go from the trailer ... from the looks of it it's going to be glamorised unfortunately. Still, she does use the word bitch throughout the second part so hopefully she'll be gritty and bitch a
lot.
This is it:
