Surprise, surprise
. NOT. The Jeff Probst Show which was supposed to start at 13h55 on SABC3 today has been ripped off the schedule at the last moment.
The reason? ... it's so boring my face is coming off from rolling my eyes so much. Tapes. Haven't arrived.
What I don't understand is why SABC3 doesn't simply ask M-Net Series Reality for the show in the meantime. It's currently airing on Series and they've aired loads of episodes already so they'd have extras for the months it's going to take for tapes to arrive.
The tapes obviously get shipped on a literal ship because when this sort of thing's happened in the past it takes forever for the show to arrive.
As you may know, The Jeff Probst Show was supposed to replace All My Children which has been cancelled by the channel. The last episode aired yesterday.
The turn of events doesn't mean that AMC will continue. A repeat of The Steve Harvey Show - currently airing on SABC1 - will be airing in instead until Jeff Probst arrives. Steve Harvey will air in two episodes a day: one at 13h55 and then another at 01h00 in the morning - in what's supposed to be the Jeff Probst repeat.
Keep a lookout in the TVSA premieres for an update when The Jeff Probst Show
eventually starts.
