Randy Jackson quits American Idol

*SHOCKER!!!* After 12 seasons, the original judge, Randy Jackson, has quit American Idol! The "dawg" told E! Online that he thinks its time for him to say goodbye, after being a part of reality television history. The "dawg" may not be the only season 12 judge saying goodbye, as producers are allegedly looking to shake the whole format up for the next season, as this has been the least watched season of the show, EVER!

Which people do I think should be the new judges? Harry Connick Jr., Pink, Carrie Underwood and Justin Timberlake... Who do you want to see on the panel next year? Do you think the show can still be saved? Sound off below!

Nope - I reckon (and hope!) that it's doomed.

I've stopped watching because I'm finding it so contrived I can't lose myself in it at all. I'm finding myself annoyed by every word by every judge because it feels as if they've got an agenda with everything they say - most specifically to "create drama and twitter hashtags".

The whole Nicki Minaj /Mariah Carey feud really pushed it over the edge - it as so staged it was impossible to believe even a fraction of it. I imagine it's all been driving Randy nuts too an that he'll feel very relieved and free to be out of it.
