So JT got satisfyingly smacked into reality on Monday night's Survivor when he was forced to face up to what an idiot he is.
Parvati officially outwitted him in the very strictest sense of the word and proved that she's a much more worthy contender of the Sole Survivor title than he's ever been.
The most intriguing thing to me was her interaction with Amanda - if I'd been Parvati on the other end of those puppy dog eyes I would probably have believed Amanda. Or I wouldn't have been sure. Parvati was though.
She was absolutely
convinced that she knew the way things would go and that she was doing the right thing by giving away the two idols, proving how important it is to never doubt yourself.
Unless you're JT of course. Even the usually stoic medic at Ponderosa had a "Bwa!" when she saw him arrive after his scorching. As you'll see in the vid, she tries not show it but you can see that she's shrieking inside.
You'd think that he would have tried to find some sort of redemption by expressing a satisfying amount of guilt afterwards but it didn't happen. Instead he mentions it once or twice, then pops champagne with Courtney and Coach and proceeds to start a band with them called The Dragons. Yip!
A couple of weeks ago TVSA member and Survivor fundi
tooboocoo mentioned that there would be a band coming up and now that it's happened it's as roach-infested as I imagined it would be. Courtney's cool though - she sings quite well in the second video - sounds as if it's because she's using some sort of effect on her voice?
Also highlighted in the vids: the question of what's gonna happen next. Will Parvati and Danielle stick with Russell or is their alliance now over?
My guess is it isn't. I reckon they'll convince him to stick with them to keep their villainous numbers up.
