Ok while everyone was going gaga over big brother last night, I made my way to Vodaworld for the top 15/top 10 result show.
The top 15 opened the show with a great performance. We also had performances from The Arrows, The Soap Sisters, Jamali, The Graeme Watkins Project featuring former Idol Graeme Watkins, and last season’s runner-up, Lloyd Cele.
I kinda have beef with Jacky and her costumes for their perfomances, the other two girls always wear costumes that makes them comfortable and they don’t have to pull down throughout the perfomance. But my sister yena, SMH like what is the point of making it that short if you going to pull it down the whole time?
It was rather sad to see Power leave, because I think he is a great entertainer. He might not have been the strongest vocally , but he gave us a good performance last week. He is energetic like that in person, full of life and he promised that this is not the last we are hearing from him. He told me that he was always doing good music and now thanks to Idols, doors will be opening for him and we will be seeing more of him. Good luck to him!
Ms J on the other hand, I thought her performance wasn’t that good last week so I was kind of not surprised. I know she is a great singer, I believe in her vocal ability but like Randall always says ‘You are as good as your last performance’.
Kahludi looks like such a sweet guy, angazi but I wanted to see more of him. Sadly him, Chloe and Kerry also were eliminated last night. Ncooh Chloe looks soo cuteEish its all fun and games until the competition gets to this point. I can only imagine what might have been going through the 5’s minds last night, but yha its all part of the game. I wish all of them luck and hope to see more of them in the future.
Chloe is sooo cute bandla, like she looks soo fragile. I hope after matric she studies something in the music lines and comes back bigger and better.

Also seen in the audience were last year’s Gail Nkoane and Funeka Peppeta. Such beautiful and friendly girls . They told me they are working on a single together, I cant wait. Gail is also on the Wild playing Lelo, so good things are happening for this young lady.

ncaah, isnt he just cute. Phaksy bathong! I wish i was born a lil later. hahaha. I like that he took a break from his IT studies and will be going back to finish. Good boy! He is just too talented man but that IT degree to fall back on sounds like a plan.
Now this is another singer right here, i bet the KZN people have a tough job deciding between her and Phaksy.
The following 2 gentlemen nhe, they could produce fireworks if they worked together. I dig them both
Because all of these people are just talented individuals, I don’t have a favourite. I like them all but I have to choose nhe. So I choose Lefa & Crushanda, hahaha .
My reason being Lefa is tswana, and him and Crushanda are from Kimberly so that’s the closest to my home. Lefa remembered that I tried to take a pic of him last week and he had to rush somewhere, he was apologetic about it futhi ncoooh they all so sweet man.
All in all it was a good show, well planned and organised. The media room after the show was also on point, free food, drinks and all. Pity i had to rush home for the BBA finale show. Thanks for a great show mnet!
