Compliments to the New Year people...Hope you had a ball like I did this festive.
I have so far received 3 emails from readers this year as applications of wanting to be on Friend Like These. I have since thought lemme make a reply for everyone to also see that I do not get people on the show. I wrote an article or reply on article 2 Years ago asking male bloggers to join in so we hit the show which the lady bloggers then did. The article or reply seems to have created a bit of confusion or as people are sometimes WE just lazy to read so here it goes and let us read carefully neh?

Friends Like These is back on SABC TV, I bumped into it this Saturday while looking for something to watch on welfare TV and for the RECORD I did not watch it, ended up taking my attention to where it was needed for better things.

If you want to be on the show and cant watch it for the sms line thing (not sure if they still do it) For Enquiries, contact the person bellow at Urban Brew.

They are just names. We dont know them. It really makes no difference to me.

I hate the show- Maybe I dislike Sbu

It’s now actually more like Families Like These…. Coz I heard something that the participants have to be related, somehow… Me think Sbu has been given enough airplay, now…. This show belongs in the same basket as Jam Alley, Selimathunzi, Jika Majika and 3Talk…. They need not come back after the World Cup…. Someone at SABC should scratch their discs “by mistake”…

And I thought I was the only one. I think I hate the fact that uwu-nyenyenye (thefula). Also he appears to be so full of himself. His show is just not all that either.

Tjo.. I see this has now turned into an attack on Dj Sbu and his physical appearance and his skills and his capabilities and character. I think the article was more about the show, though… and people who want to be on it. The point is, these shows are all becoming so mundane… there’s nothing to look forward to.. Jam Alley is still the same now as it was when it was done by Nestum – it was her, right? And like me, you bump into it several times, and only I realise later that that guy is not Nnekwa – he’s new…. And that is because everything else is the same – so what should make my eyes think the presenter has changed..

Same as Friends Like These… Whether they change the games or the rules …. It’s still stupid challenges that don really give you any reason to waste your electricity by switching that 37cm on…

So let’s get back to the show, guys… Yes, Sbu is irritating… yha, he’s got a bit of an ego… but what do you think of the show??? Would you consider watching it if they had to change the presenter, at least??

I don’t watch the show b/z it doesn’t excite me anymore….everything is just boring for me, I hate it when Sbu says – “its time to put your faith in a friend” and everybody gets so serious and anxious….that part makes me sick. I want SA’s Amazing Race – i'd want to be on the show...

sometimes he asks people about their plans and when they say something about music or DJ-ing his facial expressions changes. but the show yona ya bora straight

It has run it course, even if they changed the presenter, I still would not watch. I miss the kids are allright, now that is one show I made sure to watch when I was at home, not because of the presenter. It is the challenge, the kids and the relevant questions.
