Here's a look at the September line-up of Bollywood movies on SABC3 on Saturdays, at 15h30:

Taare Zameen Par

A 2007 film that centres round Ishaan Awasthi (Darsheel Safary) - an eight-year old boy who hates school. Every subject is difficult for him and he perpetually fails his exams. He also lacks motor coordination skills and finds it difficult to throw a ball in a straight line.

Rather than help him, his teachers and classmates subject him to constant acts of public humiliation. At the same time, Ishaan's internal world is rich with wonders that no one else seems to appreciate: magical lands filled with color and animated animals.



Santosh Subramanium

A 2008 Tamil remake of the Teluga film Bommarillu, the film centres round a father and son relationship in which the son's choices are always subdued by his father's.

Santosh wants his independece and has dreams of his own but they're always undermined by his father Subramaniam - who justifies undermining Santosh's dreams through his own dream of building a house.

The conflict between them reaches a crisis when Santosh falls in love with Hasini and dreams of achieving his independence through marrying her.

The films stars Jayam Ravi as Santosh, Genelia D'Souza as Hasini and Prakash Raj as Subramaniam.



Paheli

Based on the short story written by Vijayadan Detha, Paheli is a 2005 film that tells the story of a wife (Rani Mukerji) who is left by her husband (Shahrukh Khan). She's then visited by a ghost, disguised as her husband, who is in love with her and takes her husband's place.

Also starring: Suniel Shetty, Juhi Chawla, Rajpal Yadav and Amitabh Bachchan have special appearances in the film.

Fast fact! The film first premiered at the Zimbabwe International Film festival, in Harare.



Please note: No movie on Saturday, 26 September because of the ICC Trophy cricket.

Things are bad mos, dont have money for 90 minutes movies.  With this, they can kill time cheaper nogal
