The daughter of Mexican-American parents, Eva Longoria was raised poor on a farm in Texas and originally aspired to be a model. Along the way she landed a few small acting parts before her breakout role on the soapie The Young & the Restless.

From there, she was cast in Desperate Housewives, and the rest is history, including her marraige to longtime boyfriend, NBA star Tony Parker.

I'll have to watch the repeat next month after my husband cancelled this month's subscription just to spite me. I had serious withdrawal symptoms on Monday when i was watching E and then "your account has been suspended", i went straight to bed.
