I thought the ceremony was short of spectacular ! If it wasn't for Trevor I would have been bored to death! I kept channeling hopping!

What was that thingi Bonang was wearing?

What happened to Vusi Twala's dental formula, he really looks weird?

Who is that cute little chick who was presenting an award with Hlomla?

Did that guy who went on stage to receive the best maskandi award have to have his cellphone in his hand, yah heh! Zulus at it again, LOL!

Trevor Noah was at his best, we need him next year too!

Well done to Teargas, those boys are too good at their thing. Their album is too hot.

Brickz just needs to grow, we dont need such utterences is south african music industry, This is not the US 'beef' dont exist here.

Lira, well done. the album is way too nice

Good perfomance from Rythmic Elements, they are so down too earth.

I'm shocked Siphokazi didnt win any award, her album was good.
And "Change the world didnt win anything.... ha.
When is Rebecca Malope going to stop winning??? She must give other people a chance, her album isnt as nice anyway and Winnie Mashaba should have won it

I don't think there was anything wrong with Bonang's dress the problem is she chose the wrong dress for her legs. I am sure if Chomee or Kelly would have worn it then it would have looked much better. I dont know why she likes to expose them legs coz they are not as good as she thinks and not all of us are blessed in that department. Someone even wrote on FB that B looked like an Ostrich in heels.Tjo Tjo Tjo
Hahahahah i know there is a B fan lana so i am preparing myself for some beef......LOL

Khanyi's cinderella dress would have looked better without the tail. I liked Kelly's dress it was simple and beautiful. She has reallly matured kwi dress sense yakhe.

That Jacky from Jamali ka wedding dress le red shoes.hehe

Brickz STILL needs help, and what the hell was he wearing??,there should have given that Kwaito award to Thebe for a change or even BigNuz,Brigado didnt deserve it.

Phila naye nge overall,fashion  fashion.Tjo.

I think Cleo was the best dressed though i am not sure bout that hairdo efana no Dj What What.

Andile worked that white suit as usual.....HOTNESS!!!

Trevor did very well i was in stitches 99% of the time, especially the Maskandi and Hiphop jokes.

Sizwe Dlomo naye should change his stylist coz he cant be wearing the same design ya suit every time uchanger icolour, hayi maan.

That little gal who was flirting no Hlomla is apparently the current miss SA Teen....just goes to sure the future of  our kids in Mzansi.

True dat, Bonang's dress looked horrible on her, like a raised tutu with a tail, woulda looked better on someone short.

Peacock Mbau, i liked the yellowness in her dress but that blue lace addition was just out completely.

One of the Jamali gals had on a very Truworths like white dress that was shiny, i was like WTF???????

Sizwe Dhlomo was just sounding too boyish for me, no tanx......

Hlomla looked rather yummy.........

I was sooo happy for Lira, where was the white boyfie???

I don't really like Rhythmic Elements..................shoot me!!!!!!!!!!!!

Big Nuzz doubled his mkhaba overnight, must have been the cheap pies they said to serve in Sin City, he didn't look that mkhabalicious on friday night on Live.

Hayi guys I just felt the SAMAs were just toooooo white for my liking....I mean some white guys even presented the Best Rap Album...haybo (as in like Cell C advert haybo)......by the end of the evening besendanele yiGoldfish ngekhe.

Kanti what's with barbie doll look on all the Diamond Face Couture designs....Bonang, Uyanda and Khanyi....they all were spotting similar designs...hayi for me personally they did not appeal.

It was so good to see Hlomla and his wife out together....oh Hlomla is such eye candy nkosi yam. Vusi looked soooo cute minus the dreadlocks. Trevor Noah is on fire....just love his sense of humour. Bricks and Cleo....no comment. Am so happy for Lira...she has earned her stripes and deserved every award she won...trust Siya Ngwekazi to rub it on Arthur's face.

Lira: I loved the green dress with the red accesory gal...hot & stunning! is it 5 awards for this year? WOW>>>Arthur, are you ok?
Siphokazi: It was so weird seeing Sipho with weave...she's always on some natural or braided tip...but why didnt she get nominated.I am enjoying "Usizi".
Bonang: Take it easy girl, THAT doesnt suite you! u r too hungry for attention. U already hev it moss, yintoni ntombi kangaka...u DO NOT dance like that when u hev a dress LIKE THAT....Yeeeeeeew! I loved the dress u wore on Friday!
Khanyi: Loved the yellow & blue...I am stealing that design for my bridesmaids dresses...I dont care who says what!!!!!!!!
DJ Cleo: I loved the shirt! not sure about the hairsltye and what u said about "NOT LOSING"...GOD u r becoming too big for ur shoes dude, take it easy!

Ngqesta, your comment ethi 'the SAMAs were too white for your liking' is an unfair comment.
Keep in mind that the man behind  this event is white...Sean Watsin.
Keep in mind that it's not only black people who sing in South Africa. I would understand if you were talking abt the Metro awards because vele the station doesn't feature white musicians.
Afrikaans music is as much a genre as Maskandi and kwaito. These are the South African Music Awards.

As for MJJ's comment...'that boring XHOSA girl"...no comment.

MY GOD! I cannot believe that people STILL have this black and white, Xhosa, Zulu mentality.  Lira dating a "white" madala. MY Goodness, lemme go to Facebook, where the colour of my skin is not an issue...and for your information, even the owner of this site is white, where you write what you like about white people....NXA!

Ngqesta, your comment ethi 'the SAMAs were too white for your liking' is an unfair comment.
@KICKS....I truly understand that the man behind is white...but this is my opinion....I really felt they were too white...while I understand that we had categories for 'white' music...and I had no issues with that...like you say...white people have their music too. I just felt that they were trying to make it 50% white and 50% black which is by no means a true reflection of the SA demographics, hence for me it came across as too white. Once again, it is an opinion.

Rebecca, Jamali girl in the wedding dress,  - the dresses were just wrong. Ribs that dress was too tight.

Ribs, Anele, Cassandra, Penny - hit your local gyms please.

Bucie - I thought awesome. Abanamali labantu, she did not have i-sponsor and she did not pretend to be a trust-fund baby and went for cheap, simple yet fab.

Khanyi - classic moment of the show - "If you have it, flaunt it" - did she mean the Mandla's money or the body? Hope she meant the body coz she has it. As for imali, time will tell.

The guy wesihluthu in a suite ye short, my gosh, I freaked out when I saw you,I almost died. Actually you killed me, I had to rise from the dead. I was wondering if you had socks on with those shoes....

Phila - There is a fine line between looking really hoot and missing the point. You missed it completely.

T-bo Touch - no comment. When you are not talented ku-PR (your face), you must really make sure your clothes rock.

Tira, Andile, Cleo - Benibahle tjoe!!

Kwa kwa at all comments yho.
for me
Firstly the fashion this year just did n't do it. with the current fashion trends one expected to be blown away by some people i trusted.

Khanyi: since she does not have any challenging things to do in life in all these small  flaunting money activities she engages herself in she just overdo them. i don't know if its  bcoz myabe once done she gets worried she 'll be sitting with nothing to do so even thoughit is finnish  she will still go on.Thats what happen with her " loosing weight "exercise .Think about in everything else she does she is like that

Uyanda:  Dissapointed this time.she is always on point but hey not that dress mani  and on the photos whats with the rinkles is n't she supposed to be  30yrs old.

Miss Teen: now thats a pretty girl but hey looks like she is ..... won' t say
Bonang: need not to say more i just hope she heard the advise .I Love B.

Tumi: was worst dress for me and i think pulling that dress down made it even worse
Lungelo's wife: heal no thats very embarrasing.Cheap look at its best .up to date i have  n't seen cheap look that beats that one.

i enjoyed this year 's SAMAs  shame tx Trevor.Bricks and Cleo did they really have to i mean really now.
