Pie-rats vs Chiefs on Judgement Day

JUDGEMENT DAY

Orlando Pirates' bid to win the Premier Soccer League is faced with a massive hurdle as they host the Mighty Amakhosi. The Pie-Rats form has been improving in recent weeks and the Premiership glory means they have everything to play for.

Kaizer Chiefs on the other side have an outside chance of winning the league, but they have been inconsistent the whole season. I do not expect any thing spectacular from Chiefs....just a win against the Ghosts. Apparently this will be Muhsin Ertugral's last Soweto Derby.

Supersport United will be hoping for a draw as this will guarantee them the title.

My prayer is for Chiefs to win this match and give Supersport a run for their money. I wish the highly rated under-achievers Pie-Rats the worst of luck...I hope you close this season with an empty cabinet as always.

Here's how things stand in the Premier Soccer League at the moment.

Chiefs' win will move them to 50 points, just 4 points behind Supersport United and they will need to win all their remaining games and pray Supersport loses their remaining 2 games.
Pirates win moves them to 51 points, 3 points behind Supersport United. They stand a better chance of toppling Supersport than Chiefs.
A draw for either team will win Supersport United the league.

Don't know why the Dery is such a big deal when both these teams haven't won the league in years! Both overrated in my opinion!!!lol
Very soon other small teams that are doing well like TUKS will be depleated simply so those boys can go sit on the benches of these teams!! mxim

Vida - South African soccer will not be where it is today if it weren't for both these teams. All the teams in the PSL want to beat Chiefs or Pirates. I guess they bring competitiveness in our league.

I agree with Sobza on that one Vida, I'm very proud of FSS and Supersport, these teams have done exceptionally well!!!!!! it would be good if Supersport won the league even though i would absolutely love to see the Chiefs suppoerters faces if Orlando wins.

But thats what I am saying Sobza! Why would they all wanna concentrate on teams that aren't the best, not even second,or third????? Everybody should be trying to beat Supersprot since they are the title holders!! Don't measure yourelves against teams that USED to be the best ,but against teams that are!!

Nobody is disputing the fact that they are the ancestors of SA football!lol
