Judges Ditch Their Vote

Potential crisis or good news?? The Idols judges have ditched their vote for the rest of the season, which means that viewers will have a 100% say in how the competition goes down.

When the Top 14 start performing live this Sunday those who get whacked will be decided solely by viewer votes.

In previous season's the judges' votes have always been taken into account - their say used to count for a percentage of the final vote -  tallied together with viewer votes in SCD unexplainable ways.

My first thought was that it's going to be a disaster but now that I've thought about it - and the fact that judges have been very responsible for past smackable wins like Heinz Winky's - it actually might not be.

Does that mean they will be off my screen? If they have NO say then we have no use for them, I do'nt wanna see them anymore.

Do the judges , who are chosen by the producers, for this "licenced show" have the powers to change the show's standard format as they please?

Tashi, can you please hook me up with Gareth? I would love to get Up Close & Personal with him....professionally.

Even if they don't have a vote, they are still very influential and people do listen to their inane comments.  They will make it clear who they favour or don't favour and people will vote that way.  That is the only way Karen Kortje caught on with the people - the judges influence, not their vote.

ahahahahhahhaahah at the leopard print!! lol!

The presenters are dressed by truworths... can't they dress the judges too? or find a better representation for the female figurine... no disrespect or anything but Mara just doesn't do it for me like Paula Abdul...ohk! It's like no comparison!
