I promise this is the last article on IWTSG from me…
On Wednesday, BS and myself decided to take Lusanda Beja,Shannon and Mzo out for Lusanda’s birthday, but also to say our good-byes to them because both BS and myself were suppose to leave for North Africa yesterday. Unfortunately my staff didn’t work and I ended up not going. BS is currently in North Africa (She’ll tell you all about it next week Monday). Did I mention that Llcute1 gatecrashed the occasion? Anyway we really had a great time……..
Fast-forward to yesterday…….
After work I went home with the intention of watching SCD and Dirty Sexy Money, and of course Big Brother). Past six I got a call from Llcute1 (don’t ask me why I gave him my numbers…LOL), he was very hysterical and wanted to know where and how will he get his free tickets…..
After that call I decided to go to the State Theatre just to make sure that all the tvsa ticket winners would get their tickets (that was good-bye to my night of relaxing at home).
Last week Friday I manage to negotiate with EclipseTV to give TVSA 10 tickets and they agreed. So this week on Monday I then called Eclipse to ask for more tickets, and after a lengthy discussion with them they agreed to give me 12 more tickets. So I decided to give almost everyone who entered the competition 2 tickets each, even though 90% of them gave either an incomplete or wrong answer.
Everyone who got tickets for free and didn’t even have the decency to say THANK YOU – should remember that I TOOK NOTE of their ungrateful hooligan behaviour……
I heard some didn’t want to go inside the venue without seeing MJJ. Guys I’m sorry I was not around; I was back stage trying to checkout my new friends (the contestants). I was not planning to attend the show, but I ended up staying. Boy I’m glad I did because I was “blown away” by the performances. I’m not going to say much, I’ll let Sobza, Llcute1 and those ungratefully bloggers to tell you more about what happened.
Each contestant had a solo, some did more than 1 or 2 songs. As much as this was billed a Lungisani night, I must confess that the night belonged to non other than SIPHUMELELE MBAMBO….guys, this lady can perform, Rebecca and some of the Gospel Artists can learn a thing or 2 from her. But another surprise of the night was non other than the birthday boy Lusanda. Damn Lusanda brought the house on fire…..Sobza will be the ideal person to tell you about Lusanda because he was never a fan of his, but after last night, I’m sure he’ll take back everything he has ever said about Lucy…Another person worth mentioning was Berlinda and Thabisa…. They were also great……..
Llcute1 could hold himself about Shannon’s performance. Once again I won’t do justice to explain her performance, because out of all the Top 10, she’s the one I thought deserved to win and yes she was my fav(Happy now Big Mama33)….so as a result of that, I’m going to let the bloggers that attended the show to give an account of my Chomza’s performance…….
Lindelani could not believe it when I begged him to sign all the contestants……….he was shocked!!!!!!!
I decided to create CD’s with all the photos I’ve taken of the contestants…… I ended up with more than 130 Pictures. I wrote those pics into a cd and gave each contestant a copy of the CD. Must say most of them were shocked. Charisma told me that she never liked me but after giving her the CD she hugged me and thanked me….eish sis Charisma, people that hate me can fit 2 Putco or Golden Arrows buses…..but I’m glad you finally saw the light (not that I cared) and I love you too my sister…..
Siphumelele told me that she ignored me all night because she heard that I was going to give them CDs and when I didn’t give her a copy before the show, she thought she was not part of the people who were going to receive the CD…. I’m glad I surprised her……. Thabisa and Belz and the rest of the contestants were excited to get the CD…..
I know I was told not to mention this, but I’m God’s child and don’t keep good news all to myself……. The Top 10 “might” be taking a 5 city tour, and the chances of that happening are 95%, so Durban, Cape Town, PE, Polokwane, Bloem bloggers don’t despair, mjj will hook you up with free VIP tickets. Lusanda and Mzo will be writing their final exams soon so me –thinks the tour might start in Dec……….
I know Cande has a VIP ticket to attend the show tonight, so who else is joining her????? And NO I don’t have free tickets for tonight….
CD winners will only be announced once I get the CDs on my hand………….(I’m not saying I don’t trust the producers of the show)….. I saw the cover of the Cd and it looks cheap… lets hope the music is great!!!!!!
PE contestants(Mzo and Thabisa) will arrive in PE on Saturday at 1pm….. and I believe Mzo will be performing on Saturday night somewhere in PE and its not for free. PE people please buy the tickets and go support our boy!!!!
