announced that the channel's launching a new look next month to celebrate 10 years of broadcasting across international platforms.
The changes will impact on viewers/creatures who watch
the channel in the UK, Europe, the MIddle East, Latin America, Asia and Africa.
First launched in the US in 2007, the channel was rebranded in the US in February this year and the changes are now being extended across country's.
New shows will be introduced as well as new on-air graphics and a new logo:
In South Africa the premiere line-up features programmes with local content. These include:Animal Cops: South Africa
As previously reported
by TVSA, Animal Cops SA is the South African version of Animal Cops Houston, Detroit etc.
Produced by the creators of both Animal Cops and Animal Precinct, it follows the trials and barkings of the Animal Cruelty Inspectors at the Cape Town SPCA.

Set at the Shamwari game reserve in South Africa the show follows the lives of both the people who work and live at the reserve and the creatures they live with.
It introduces the local line-up and starts at the end of this month already - on Monday, 29 October. It premieres at 12h45 and repeats later at 19h00.

.Escape to Chimp Eden
Chimp Eden's set at a South African chimpanzee scantuary that rescues chimps from the horrors of human captivity. The show follows the ongoing drama that affects the chimps as they go through the transition from life as prisoners to freedom with other chimps.

In October further new shows will premiere including a new season of Animal Park: Wild on the West Coast and Groomer Has It - a reality show that pits dogs groomers against each other to search for the best groomer in the US.
The rebranding of the channel goes live on 1 October 2008.
