The past week I received couple of complaints regarding the picture quality of this blog. And I fully agree, the quality of the pictures published in this blog is below par. So as you all know that I’m doing my last week of my rehab stint and therefore can no longer attend the live recordings, so as a professional I sent a request to EclipseTV for pictures of the contestant’s performances. My surprise - I only received 1 fuzzy picture with the worst quality ever.
Hay’ khona EclipseTV. The rest of the pictures on this blog were stolen from the sowetan website (www.sowetan.co.za).
The guest judges were (Hlengiwe Mhlaba who seriously needs an image make-over, I mean REALLY? Even my mother makes an effort to look good, saying she looked ordinary is an understatement). Jabu Nkabinde (loved his independent remarks and the Hairstyle). And the 3rd guest judge was Sipho Makabane. I saw Berlinda and Shannon as part of the studio audience.
Foschini & Markhams clothes seriously make people look like they work in the dark corridors of Hillbrow. Again Lungisani received the most number of votes. 4 names were called forward, Lusanda, Thabisa, Tshepiso, and Kgotso. Kgotso was announced as the contestant who received double the number of votes he received last week and the other 3 received the least number of votes.
Performances
Lusanda (8/10)
Lusanda is very articulate for a 17 year old. Otherwise he gave a great and clean performance.
It’s clear that Lindelani doesn’t LIKE Lusanda. Otherwise why the constant attacks? He mumbled some stupid comments not related to the child’s performance. Hay’ suka go hang yourself Lindelani because when it comes to Siphumelele you turn a blind eye and ear on technicalities. Siphumelele never follows a key, she sings 3 lines of a song, thereafter she starts shouting and gyrates and YOU CALL THAT SINGING? Ag mcim…… Clearly you want a clone of Rebecca NOT A SINGER.
Tshepiso (I’ll let the bloggers score Tshepiso’s performance because I don’t think I will do justice)
His ELIMINATION IS LONG OVERDUE. Nice suit by the way. The less said about Lindelani’s comments the better because he is becoming personal now and its clear who are his fav people. Lindelani why not spare us the time and energy and announce Tshepiso as your winner? YOU ARE BIASED and it’s becoming evident to stupid fools like me.
Thabisa (8/10)
That outfit made her look 20kg more than her usual weight. Performance was OK, nothing spectacular.
Charisma (7/10)
She sang one of the songs I always use to quote from whenever I make motivational talks to young people – You raised me up by Josh Groban. The hair style made her look like a “lady of the night and -2 points for that. I don’t even wanna comment about her outfit – this is a Gospel show for Heaven’s sake. Great performance otherwise. What else can you expect from her?
Mzoxolo (4.5/10)
Child why on earth would you sing Lundi’s song? -4 points for that. Your markhams clothes were too bright for me. Thanks for buying new shoes. I switched off immediately after hearing you were going to sing Lundi’s song. Not only was I disappointed by his choice of song, also by his performance. This boy can do much better than that. Do you want to go back home? If not, start pulling your socks mtshana.
Lungisani (5/10)
The less I give Lungisani cyber “publicity” the better because he deserved to be eliminated last week already. What shocked me was Lindelani’s comments – he practically endorsed Lungisani’s gyrating. In fact Lindelani told the whole country that, Lungisani is way better by making a fool of himself (Lungisani) with his strange stage antics. Lindelani clearly likes the ZCC moves.
Kgotso (4/10)
I loved the outfit ka Kgotso. He started well and in the middle he became Siphumelele’s twin. And NO I’m not going to PRAISE him for wanting to be a male version of Rebecca or Siphumelele. -5 fro trying to be Rebecca. How on earth do I endorse pretenders? Kgotso this is the last warning – PLEASE BE YOURSELF, SHOW US WHO KGOTSO IS.
Siphumelele (9/10)
AMEN Bazalwane. Loved the hair ka Siphumelele. Just for changing that hair style +2 points. -4 for singing Lundi’s song. +2 for finally singing the entire song without your usual antics. Great performance. Lindelani said what Toxic and the rest of us have be saying from the 2nd episode that Siphumelele needs to be versatile. Lindelani’s comments are WAY TOO LATE. And just because of Lindelani’s comments, I’m not going to deduct points from her for being predictable.
EliminationInstead of eliminating 2 contestants as intended, 1 contestant was eliminated. You decide on Lindelani’s reasons for that because if I say something I might be jailed (
I’m still a virgin and don’t want to be raped).
Lusanda was eliminated (God knows why). (Thank you Lindelani for embarrassing the poor child).
Jabu – I loved your independence bhuti. Was Thabo wearing the same suit as last week?
This show is starting to have
DEVIL TRAITS and I’m not sure if I want to watch the next coming episodes. I have issues with people who are not consistent, AMEN.
