The Ciao and Tony story

Chawe had promised Tony that he would steal a boat for him and last night we saw him going to Tony's house to speak to him. Tony and his family (extended?) were decorating a X-mas tree and basking in the festive spirit (even Palesa with her black eye).
Chawe informed Tony that he could no longer go ahead with stealing the boat as he wasn't a thief and he knew people that could scuba-dive and steal the boat for Tony.

Tony convinced him that he would not be stealing the boat, he would be "borrowing it" from the owners until they paid Tony what was due to him. In the end Ciao agreed to steal the boat and was rewarded with a smile from Tony.

They then spoke about Chawe's recurring bad dreams and about how he is to become a sangoma. Tony promised to buy him a cow for this rite of passage.
Ciao was then shown the boat he would have to steal on a stake-out and asked about the "boatguards". Tony then told him not to worry about them, they would be silenced. Ciao was then given a Zola-7 necklace and went back to his flat where thoughts of Phindi occupied his mind. He then called her and left a voice message declaring his undying love for her.
On the day of the boat-stealing, Ciao was given a bottle and cloth and told to pour the contents of the bottle on the cloth and to use that cloth to cover the guards' noses and that would put them to sleep. Shame, poor boy didn't think HE'D be the one putting the guards to sleep.
We then saw him get on the boat, jump on the guards-one at a time, drug them and then proceed to the part of the boat where the the captain sits and steers the boat (dunno what it's called). What i found odd was that he suddenly started searching the boat. I mean, why would he?? It was also amazing that all the tackles on the guards were done NOISELESSLY-one would think these tough men would manage to at least moan loudly if they can't scream!

Anyway, he eventually discovered bags of cocaine in the boat, called Tony and told him that he's not a drug-dealer and then threw each packet in the sea, one after the other while Tony listened to the sound of the water splashes. Well, no doubt he's Tony's number ONE enemy from now on! No more motel accomodation for you sonny!
Tracy and Jabulani
Jabulani woke up to find Tracy in the lounge, looking very worried. She then told Jabu that she's going to have to go to Cuba as her mom has leukemia and she wants Jabu to come with her. The way she said it sounded like an altimatum,
either you come with me or we're through, typa ting. Jabu eventually agreed to leave with her as Tracy had pointed out to him that he really has nothing going for him...the helicopter venture wasn't going anywhere anyway.
Jabulani, Mandla and the other guyJabu went to the "landing strip" where the helicopter is kept to speak to his business partner and when he got there, he found Mandla and the other guy together. He was then informed that Mandla would be part of the business team as he had contacts and could bring in sponsors---what sponsors are needed for flying people over the beach, i'm still not sure. Maybe to supply fuel?
Jabu flipped because the profits would now have to split 3-ways and walked out on them.
We then saw Mandla and Jabu in the "lifeguard house". Jabu told Mandla he didn't want to do any business with a drug dealer and Mandla told him that without the contact and sponsors that he would bring, Jabu had nothing!

He then said he'd buy his way into the partnership. I suppose this made the decision to leave with Tracy so much easier for Jabu.
