Two half-hour episodes back to back.As Greens & Grains owner Leslie Pool looks to cement his legacy with an heir just one year after his father’s death, he hires his discredited longtime rival and sees a much-anticipated in-store promotion turn into a desperate armed robbery and hostage situation.
The mayhem continues with Season Two as Leslie marks the first anniversary of his father’s passing by looking in-house for an heir to whom he can one day leave the supermarket that is his family’s only legacy.
As his scant knowledge of the grocery business continues to haunt him, especially when it comes to fighting the giant chain store next door.
Leslie leads his hapless crew against challenges that include Ingrid’s quest to lose her virginity, the realization that Richard is gay, an armed robbery gone awry, a questionable attempt to sell the freshest beef in town, and a promotional calendar that reveals some troubling news about a valued employee.
Leslie’s biggest test may be yet to come: following the Internet release of a sexually explicit videotape that costs rival grocery manager Amy Anderson her job, he hires her to work alongside him at Greens & Grains.
