Hillside 2
Premiere date: Tuesday, 4 March 2008 at 21h30
The doctors of Hillside return for a second season to continue working at turning their new hospital into a success.

The doctors live for their work but also have an emotional need for friendship, support, love and intimacy from each other in their daily hospital cocoon that's far from the demands of another world they call home but hardly ever see.

Runs Mondays to Fridays

Will and Dewitt follows the day-to-day struggles faced by the main character Will, who's in a hurry to be a grown-up kid but often stumbles over minor hurdles.

Along the way he counts on the support and advice of his best buddy, Dewitt, an optimistic frog whose bubbly personality and shape-changing abilities keep Will hopping. No matter what the problem, Dewitt is there with the means to the answer.

In each episode Will must conquer a typical childhood fear or challenge.

Huis van Liefde
Premiere date: Tuesdays 18 March 2008 at 19h30

Huis van Liefde (House of Love) is the third SA miniseries in SABC2's miniseries festival.

On a moonless night in 1995, an event took place in the cemetery of a small town in South Africa that would shock the world and throw the lives of 5 people into complete disarray.

On this night Nick Dekker, desperately lonely and unable to cope without his beloved wife Barbara, exhumes her embalmed corpse and installs her in a tomb on his farm.

His two sons, 10 year old Matthew and 9 year old James are party to this creepy event and are sworn to secrecy. Nobody must know. And for 12 years, their secret is safe.

Nothing much happens in the quite town of Bethal and on the surface all seems normal. But on the Dekker farm, a strange ritual plays itself out every night.

After putting the boys to bed, Nick shaves his beard, combs his hair and then walks the short distance to the secret tomb where he has installed a small bed for himself.

Why did he do it? What drives a man to dig up the corpse of his wife and resume such a macabre love affair?

The Generation Game
Premiere date: Thursday 27 March 2008 at 19h30

The Generation Game is a new gameshow based on the format of the long-running UK gameshow of the same name.

Hosted by comedian Barry Hilton and actress/presenter Cindy Nkabinde, the show involves four teams of two playing a series of games against each other.

Each team's made up of a couple of the opposite sex who are at least a generation apart eg. mothers and sons, grandfathers and granddaughters etc

The competition involves each team trying to master a skill. A professional demontsrates how something's done eg using a potters wheel, dressing a shop wndow dummy, dancing etc.

The players then need to do to the task as well as possible and get judged by the professional who gives each team a score - eliminating teams along the way in a knockout.

By the time it gets to the end the team with the highest score gets to play the Conveyer Belt Game that has all sorts of prizes up for grabs, including a mystery holiday.

Premiere date: Friday 28 March 2008 at 17h00

Comedy, adventure and mystery combine in this animated series featuring two kids, Zoe and Alex, who are swept into a world of speaking animals. But all is not right and harmonious in the once peaceful kingdom. Unusual events are undermining the fabric of Animalian civilisation.

Zoe and Alex and their new best friends, G'bubu the gorilla and Iggy the iguana, do everything they can to help solve the mysteries and bring peace and order back to the land.

Animalia is based on the picture book of the same name by Graeme Base.
