No matter how many times they sail off into the sunset, they always come back again to tell us what they’ve found. Paul and Cheryl Shard are back for a fifth season of Distant Shores - this time with a new boat.

In this series Paul and Cheryl say goodbye to their beloved Two-Step and search for its worthy successor. Whilst looking for a suitable craft, the Shards take time out to sail with friends on a variety of boats.

There is also a final emotional journey to Malta on Two-Step before it’s handed over to new owners, and a challenging Atlantic crossing to break in their new boat.
