After epic rebroadcasts of last years Oprah the time's eventually arrived for the latest season.

The 22nd season of the show premieres on SABC3 on Monday (28 January, 2008) in it's usual timeslot at 16h00 - with the evening repeats on at the regular 22h15 time.

Here's the lowdown on what's coming up in each episode across the week:

Fast facts about the season:

The season premiered in the US on 10 September, 2007. It was broadcast from WaMu Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

It's the first time a new season's been launched outside of Chicago.

The premiere episode featured late-night talk show host David Letterman as a guest for the first time on the show. This episode won't be broadcast in South Africa or Africa - it's only been broadcast in the US and the UK.

It was followed by Six Years Later ... The Children of September 11 as the second episode.

Kanti some shows dont get broadcast in Africa. (David Letterman) hoo the Americans still think we African are so clueless when it comes 2 certain topics.
