Episode 9: The Girls Come To Cape Town

The models go wild this week on America’s Next Top Model when they fly to Cape Town as their international destination. To start off their new adventure, they go on an African safari where one girl cannot keep her mouth shut when they get near the lions, putting the rest of contestant’s lives at risk.
To make matters worse, the rest of the wannabes have to spend the night in a tent on their own in the bush while the winner of the challenge and a friend sleeps in the luxury of a lodge.
Next, the models use their bodies to portray the movements of wild animals in a photo shoot. The judges, clearly feel the contestants need more practice so during elimination the remaining six are told to portray a feeling on the spot. When Kahlen still has trouble portraying passion, Janice takes matters in her own hands and grabs Tyra to show her how it’s done.
On a serious note, with weight being such a hefty issue in the industry, Keenyah is told by the judges to lose the excess baggage. Coming clean, she admits since the competition started, she has gained 10 pounds (4.5 kg).
