I wish I wasn't so technically challenged.
How difficult can it be to set the timer on the video. Apparently, very. Please someone, send me an instruction manual or a PVR (I'm leaning toward the PVR)
Because of my technical ineptness, I only managed to catch the last 4 performances and it sounded as if the judges and I were hearing 5 totally different things. My opinions differed very much from theirs (big surprise) but also I think the sound quality wasn't the best.
LUCKILY for me, M-Net have now loaded ALL the performances on their web site and although the sound isn't 100% at least I can hear what went down!
OK, I take that back, the sound is not so good and it's out of sync. I doubt if I can give an unbiased opinion, because some of them don't sound that good but people have been raving about them .
So.... I'll give my opinion who I think should go through based on looks (and the talent I remember) and on people who live closest to me... because that's how it's done anyway!
In no particular order...
Munroe - damn he cleaned up fine!! Plus he has a good voice (but mainly because his good looks though)
Big Pete - 'cause he's from PE
Other Pete - liked the song and Gareth was mean to him last time so I really want him to go through
Daniel - cause he's HOT
Bjorn - Looks
Jared - He can SING.
Sabelo - he can Sing
As for Dominic,Richard, Rob( doesn't he just remind you of Mick Hucknall?) & Lucky, unfortunately, they didn't stand out so if they go, I wont miss them. Although if Daniel stayed, the YUM factor would go up.
What makes the voting very exciting is that we FINALLY get to see who the judges voted for - what with them having 49% of the say anyway. Plus new and improved ways to get voting. MXIT being my least favourite method, although it is FREE.
I have one problem with M-Net. They put up all the video clips of the contestants, they even showed constipated Randall, dreary Dave and gargoyle Gareth. But did they even show ONE SECOND of yummy Colin? Not one clip guys? WHYYYYY???? Can I ask very nicely for one next week. Pretty please?
And I swear, it looked like Mara was going to pop a nipple every time one of those young boys walked on stage! YOH!
