Dreams i they real or just what?

I bet all of you guys will understand what im talking about, i mean dreams what r they,i they telling us what is going to happen in future,r they trying to clear our insecurities,r they answering to all the questions you keep bugging yoself about? I mean honestly everyone has had a nightmare,maybe yo loved one dying,yo man cheating on you or not wanting anything to do with you,or maybe see yoself drowning under water i mean some hectic staff, maybe something is happening to yo child and you wake up, and some of them do feel so real that you end up crying or checking whether yo child is still breathing or you call yo man n you say "babe I LOVE YOU" just to see whether the dream was real or not. I mean honestly guys tell me what do you think of dreams what r they,what do they mean,and what is it that you eva dreamt about that made you so afraid or made you happy that you just wish you neva woke up n keep dreaming cas it was such thee dream?

he he he speaking about dreams. On fridai i had this dream neh, i woke up smiling!
In my dream i had won a 100 thousands rand from a million-a-month account from FNB and i bought my own wheels.

Mna ke i had a dream that someone was chocking me n oatseba keng? nne ke robetse ka ma neck chain,so i think thats the reason it felt as if i was being strungled.

Dreams nhe! I've got quite a few scary ones, some are just plain confusing. For starters, when there's gonna be death in the family, I always dream of flowing water or heavy rains.A few days after that dream I'll be told that someone I know had died, so I always worry after such dreams.

When I was doing my final year at college, a few weeks before my graduation, I dreamt of this ugly man kissing me. It was early in the morning, you know when you can feel that you r not into a deep sleep.It was actually very horrible, but what was very weird and very scary was that when I woke up I had a rash all over my lips. At first I thought my lips were just flaking, so I exfoliated them a bit with some sugar. But even after that my lips still felt a bit bumpy, so I went to the mirror to check them out. Yo the horror, and I could still imagine the man, the beared, eewww. To this day I still wonder what really happened.

About two weeks ago, I dreamt I was preaching or something, and my teeth just started falling, every time I opened my mouth to say something my teeth kept falling down. I suddenly woke up, I was freaked. I changed sides, slept on my right side, went back to sleep, the dream continued, hayi bo. Two days later, something similar happened, I dreamt I was praying this time, my tongue kept falling out , I picked it up, another one grew from the inside, I tried to say something my tongue fell out again, until I woke up. All i know is, I hate dreams.

Mna most people find me scary, Each and every time i dream of some1 something bad happens 2 them. Like if I dream of death, some1 close to me / that person I dreamt of dies. Like tgis other night I had a dream that a friend of me was coming torwards crying, i woke up it was around 3am, i wanted 2 go & c if she is OK but I was scared. 2 days later I went 2 c her and she told me she was raped @ around 3am the same night I had that dream.

The other night my b/f and his friend went to a party, i was not feeling well and was sleeping @ home. @ around 1am i dreamt that his best friend was stabbin him. i woke up & went 2 look 4 him, when i got there his friend was stabbing someone else and he was trying 2 stop him, 2 think i was there 5 minutes later, he could have stabbed my b/f.

all in all every thing that I dream of comes 2 reality, sometimes not as clearly as i had seen it in a dream. Sometym when things happen 2 me its like de javu coz i have already dreamt about them

lorrelai, i know its not funny but that dream where your teeth were falling out is jsut too funny,hihihi. mina when my bed faces one position for a long time i have bad dreams, so i change the position of my bed every month/2, on Friday i dreamt i was killing osmeone intentionally by driving over them, geez but this person ddnt die, he came to me and said when i get out of hospital i will hunt down the person who was trying to kill you.

The night that i heard that Gift Leremi died, idreamt he had risen from the dead and he was my boyfirend and i was running away from him, and he said no sweetie its me, gaad i was so scared!!!

Yeah some dreams are scary but atleast mina i dont believe in them so if even if i have this very bad dream i dont try to figure out what it means, i just go on like nothing happened and even when bad things happen after it i dont try to connect them with my dreams.

Talking about dreams there is one dream I always hated having and the guys know it ahahahaha... eish yah ne those days. But they say if you dont have it then you not normal especially if ole inactive, when active you dont have it so pila pila the almighty doesnt want people ba bolawa ke tlala even if there is a saying about a sin in the bible. For the guys it mostly appears in the Month of September most likely if o bolawa ke tlala. i remember those days Madenza used to wake up ka 5 o Clock to clean up his mess hi hi hi hi.

@presha I do believ in callings but i believe when the time is write i will follow that. some people say they just ignore their dreams even if they happen, have u guys lived with the guilt that had u warned the person maybe this couldnt have happened, well it happens 2 me all de tym. but some dreams are just whats on ur mind, coz on saturday after the sundowns/pirates match. i dreamt that Vuyo Mere was giving me his phone numbers, which of course its somethinh I have bee hoping for.

everytime i'm watching i Heroes i dream that i'm one of them maybe flying or being a cheerleader it's weird,,,

but my favourite dream is when i dream uZola maybe talking to him or ngiyi cherrie yakhe when l dream like that i dont wanna wake up hihihih:)

Every one has to have experienced the 'anxiety dream' ..I know I have .it started wayyyy back durin boma HS years n mom wud shisa dimphepha to make the bad spirits dissapear.... funny thing they neva did eventually these things wud happen even b4 i fell asleep.... as in Im wide awake and this power just hovers over me n then gotcha... I lie there scared stiff waiting for wat eva to freaking pass!!!!

I also have a problem of not remembering my dreams in the morning,I know I dreamt of something,but what, I dont know.In rare instances which I do remember what I dreamt of,that thing happens but I dont like it coz its mostly bad things (like people dying or having accidents).

Nna my dreams are a bit weird (in lack of a better word). They have been going on for as long as I can remember and only the bad ones become true. Basically, I dream that someone is going to die, and they do! But, let's say I dream about Cocky dying in a car accident. I remember the dream the following morning and then forget it until it happens for real.

guyz what's happening 2 me is weird it no dream/nitemare but it happens when i 'm in town or around many people,
i wud see a person and in my mind i wud be like "oh here is so and so that i know" as i'm walking towards them i remember no i can't be her/him that person has recently died or died a long tym ago!
So if i see some1 i know i 1st i talk to mymind 1st & make sure b4 approching that person / i just leave them alone! I hate it when it happens I think i WEIRD!!!!!

@ Dimago....that feeling of a 'frozen body' where you find yourself not being able to straighten your legs.. etc we call it SEGATELEDI ka Sepedi. This normally happens when something (animal or human being) moves infront of where your headboard or head is facing when you are sleeping. It happens a lot when a person sleeps during the day and there is a lot of movement outside.

When it happens at night we normally joke about it and say baloyi ba go fofa ka dihlogong.

Foxy & LM - you guys are scaring me now...snakes, baloyi. I was better off thinking it was happening cause i was anxious about something. LM it doesnt just happen during the day, it also happens at night, espesh if i sleep facing upwards. Now i try to sleep on my side, but it still happens...

Yes Dimago,LM is right,even in Setswana it is called SEGATELEDI,it can 'gatella' u even when u sleep during the day.It once got my aunt while she was during the day,she could hear people talking in the house but couldnt wake up,and when she finally did,the people who had been speaking in the house had taken everything inside it.

I have a problem of forgetting my dreams but I'm one person who is very superstitius big time I can't even help it for instance when my eye is having a tickle on the left down I'm definetly gonna cry and then but if it heppens for more than a day someone close to me will die..... so you can just imagine the horror of knowing that someone you know will die but can't do anything about it.....

Then I also have this thing of doves if I see two it means I'm gonna have a pleasent day but if I see one that my day is gonna be hell.

And also if my right hand is itchy it means I'll get cash.....

this is so true I promise.....

i always dream about my fathers relatives who i we are not close with and until i pay them a visit i wont stop dreaming about them and i hate visiting them - eish mara why?
when my sister had her 1st child - i dremt her with baby girl and it became true
she is preggies again and i saw her with a baby boy and she is having one- is it a gift?

i once dreamt my father (he has passed on)-he came to take to me (die)-he said it was my time to join him and i started breathing heavingly, pleading with him that i am too young and i still want to live- he left- i never told anyone and i woke up with painful chest the next day.

Cocky why o re gopotsa these things- now i wonder what i am gonna dream about tonite- TVSA may be -?ke tla le botsa tomorrow what i dreamt.
i hope my father's relative wot be visiting tonite.

i once dreamt that vhoSusan and from Munyango and Soni Mbhele from Genreshin were fighting over me and vhoSusan was winning!!!!!! and I was so mad at Sonia coz in this dream vhoSusan wanted to drag me to venda...and Sonia was so weak for some reason.she didnt pull the Karab stunt .eish baaaddd dreams I woke up with the Tv still on and maybe thats why...

the "dream" u all are referring to is not actually a dream and ur not completely awake at the same time. i get those sometimes myself. it's called sleep paralysis. u feel like something weird is on your body, in my case an insect in my ear, and u can't move or scream or nothing and the fright is like ur gonna die. the trick is (stupid cos at that time u won't remember this cos ur too frightened!) to open your eyes!

hayi sponono yu sound like a dreamer in anycase bt let me share ma story last year we had a rituall at home so i went there and i was always dreamin abt ma grand father and i went home at home i didnt wanna tell every 1 abt it i told ma dad's brother whom im close to and whn he passed away we were nt that close anymo kanti bfo i was and i feel that he was expecting too much frm me and i dissapointed him ma dad's brother took me to his grave and told me to go talk to him and share ma pain and that tym i was lookin 4 work and i was'nt serious abt it in anycase i spoke to him i cried so much that ma life was nt what i dreamed of and i was sorry 4 everything that was sunday and i had to go backto jo-burg the followin day the next day ma friend called me wathi i must cum back on sunday the agency called they need sm1 to work for them for 2 weeks thats why i believe if yu dream abt them theres a message behind or they showin yu that yu r protected bt dnt ignore !!!

yu know gal part of growth i suggest yu do the same in that way yu'll find peace and conclusion im sorry abt yo mom and the issues if sm1 ive hurt most in life its her and i thank the lord that i came bk to ma senses bfo it was too late bkoz ppl they'd ask me if smthing would happen to her how will i feel and i cared less so do the right thing if it means usile kowenu just to bring her closer to yu do that suggestion mna i believe kumasiko and i avoid izinto zamashwa so i do listen to the elders and i hope yu've changed now

KeleFabulous...but you can't simply open your eyes because u are sleeping...anyhow...Dimago I think you should try whatever method until you get what works for you.

I don't know how to explain what serokolo is...well ke modu (root) or a tree bark . It is small, round, dry and brownish in colour. it is normally used by the Batswana and Bapedi for 'diluting or expelling evil spirit', especially when there is a newborn baby in the house....visitors will be asked to take a bite, chew it and then swallow the juices. In your case you will have to spear your self ( it can be hands or any part of your body, not necessarily the whole body) with it after you have chewed it.

Guys who know what serokolo is please help.
