5 reasons why Ntombi and Sbusiso WILL NOT get married

Mr Mfundi Vundla has not allowed himself to be disillusioned by the fairy tale idea of living happily ever after and is not about to let that happen with Ntombi and Sibusiso. Letting them get what they want (i.e a fulfilling marital life with roses and candle-lit dinners) would spell the end of their days on Generations. I'll let history tell this story for me:

1. Queen Sebobe and Zakes Moroka

These two successfully managed to walk down the altar and no sooner had they exchanged their vows than Mfundi decided it had gone too far and Zakes was killed. Although he left the cast, he is still a member of the generations team, if his name on the credits is anything to go by.

2. Zoleka Mda and Archie Moroka

Jeepers Creepers, these two led a fairly beautiful life and it was only natural that they'd get married. Theirs was a convincing marital portrayal although Zoleka's calmness and serenity often made me grind my teeth. The drama followed where Zoleka kind of lost her mind (did she steal someone's baby?) but in the end the marriage-curse bit these two and they were written out of the soap (Archie dying (i hope) and Zoleka going to India on some soul searching journey to become a better person and discover answers to the mystery that life is.

3. Karabo Moroka and Mandla Sithole

The day Karabo finds a match, gets married and has successful pregnancy is the day we say goodbye to Generations! It was no suprise then that this marriage didn't last and Mandla became an obsessed, paranoid, jealous and overproctective husband for Karabo. With divorce looming large for this couple, some creative high on coke decided to have Mandla killed by crazed Zanele (Tau's half sister). Goodbye Mandla, you are the weakest link!

4. Vivian and Glen Majozi (a mission tryna get Roderick's pic!)

Vivian was the darling of Generations, that woman with spunk and the right kind of attitude. it was a surprise that she got married to begin with! She got married to Glen Majozi and found that being a domesticated wife wasn't for her, had an affair with Glen's colleague/client and became pregnant. Wrote her name in TV soapie history by televising her actual birth and the two of them left the show. I cannot recall how this happened but it did.

                                                          (hmmmm)
5. Dineo and Kenneth Mashaba

Dineo grew up in a home-turned tavern and hers is a story of a lot of young women out there. She had ambitions to become better (read rich) and lead the kind of lives Hollywooders lead. The answer to her problems was Kenneth and they tied the knot. We have seen the infidelity already and they are talking of marriage counselling. Word on the street is that Kenneth is leaving the show and my guess is that it has EVERYTHING to do with the marriage-curse!

There are others on the show that got married and have left the show:
*Sphiwe & Lumka
*Baba&Sonny
*Shaan and Deven
*Thembi and Sonny (he was hanging on for dear life)
*Paul Moroka and Kgomotso (Carol Bouwer)
*Stoffel & Baba (pulling a  Sonny on us)
*Priscilla and Archie

Generations wouldn't even let non-BIGGIES like Zamani and Jackie get any further than the first date, for chrissakes! Look at Ajax and Grace's friend, Khapela and all his dates, including his dearly-departed wife.

Generations doesn't endorse happy endings and if Ntombi and Sbusiso finally tie the knot, one of them will be leaving the show and i doubt Mfundi wants that. These two are what Brooke and Ridge are to The Bold and the Beautiful....
