So we were all waiting with baited breath to see the Q debut! (eish that rhymes - i'm dropping lyrics hi hi hi). I thought Q was going to be revealed last week, but as it turned out, I was made to wait for a week. Then, I didn’t know who this "Q" was going to be. We had a conversation in The Bus and we were putting all kinds of pictures in our heads of who this actor-model guy would be...
Shuga told us that she heard that Buyile Mdladla was Q (eish wazi too much), but it seemed like no one believed her because we carried on dreaming. When the Sunday papers revealed that Buyile was Q, I was disappointed... then I told the bus mates that we just have to wait and see how Q does....
Monday was supposed to be Q's TV debut, there I was waiting again. Then he decides to keep us in suspense for one more day. Barker's people waited at the airport for 2 hours, with a "Manqoba "Q" Mazibuko" sign, but he never showed up. Siyanda was furious at his brother for standing Barker up. He (Q) later called his sister to tell her that he spent the night at Hyde Park at Jasmine Singh's place (a girl he met on the plane).
Today Buyile aka Q made his debut... and I must say he made me swallow all my words. Buyile Mdlala has proved me wrong. He’s an absolute charmer and he looks young... Okay maybe it’s the styling gel waves he's got on his head...hi hi hi hi. What do they call that hairstyle vele??
Q arrived at Barker's office and introduced himself as Manqoba Mazibuko, he has some kind of a European accent (French meets spanish type) I think he uttered some french or spanish words somewhere. Harriet was charmed and couldn’t utter a clear sentence. She asked if she can get him anything, his reply was "Espresso, if you have that". Harriet even took off her glasses (because they got misty - that's how hot she got) when Q told her that he likes mature women. Harriet was almost drooling and Barker saw this. She called her from his office, his (almost exact) words were...
"What the hell is going on in there!!?? Get that overgrown delinquent in here"
oh Barker is funny...
Harriet took Q to Barker's office (who was sitting facing the opposite direction)
Q: Barker Haines - I finally meet you (eh something like that)
B: (turns around to find Harriet staring at Q) Harriet, I would like speak to Q in private.
B: So....? Q... (in a smile) the mayor's daughter? (his face changed) what the hell were you thinking???
Yoh, I got scared but then cut to the next scene.
Barker and Q are sharing a single malt whiskey and laughing. Seems like our dear Q even charmed Barker. Siyanda arrived at Barker's relieved that Barker is disciplining her brother. She got really angry when she saw Barker and her brother laughing.
She later took her brother to meet his new landlady 
Maggie. When they arrived there he met Maggie and Paul. Q commented on how much he loves the house and how the pastel colours are the in thing in Europe - it was Europe this and Europe that... He even asked if Maggie if she's an interior designer? Of course that was the biggest compliment to Maggie, she was smiling endlessly!!
Huuuwiiieee, I can already see that Q is the new man we need in the bus. He seriously charmed me too. Huuwiieee he better not disappoint. oooh yah... he had this scarf on!! how many men wear scarves vele?? A few...!!! He's been introduced as a charmer and I hope he charms all the ladies on Isidingo and break a few hearts. What would a soapie be without some backstabbing...?? well Q I give thee the knife... muu haa haa haa muu haa haa haa (that’s my evil laugh)
What is your impression of Q and who should he hook up with?? Remember he can hook up with more that one because we can already see that it's going that way...
Did you say Ma'Agnes?? hmm he said he loved older women... okay I’m getting ahead of myself... let’s just enjoy the ride...
