Episode 6x19: Nemesis

Wow it's been a while since I have written a Smallville review. Sorry guys.

Nemis was a great episode, probably one of the best this season. Except maybe episode 16, "Promise". The Lana/Lex wedding. I won't go into that episode as this is a discussion for eppy 19.

How many times are Lex's scemes going to get him almost killed. This guy has more lives than a cat. This episode showed however that there is a pinch of humanity left in him. We all know Lex and when he told that woman that her husband is dead some alarms started to scream in my head. Lex's not known for his honesty

Luckily for Lex Clark came to save the day but if you think about it they worked together to get out of that tunnel. Clark also had no super powers to help him cause of the kryptonite in the tunnel. I mentioned that we saw some humanity in Lex. I never thought that he will help Clark when Clark was buried alive when things came crushing down on him. This was kinda strange, that the stuff that fell on him didn't hurt him that much, I mean he was powerless.

I got to say that my girl Lana is back. I like this Lana a lot. The way that she confronted Lionel in hospital. I just loved that confrontation. You could see the fear in the old man's eyes when she told him that she holds the cards of his life in her hands because of Lex that might be dead, she must make the desicions. I'm glad that Lana knows Clark's secret. This was long overdo. It is good to see that she is not the victim anymore.

I liked the way Lana played the cops to give her Lex's briefcase. She has learned a few tricks form being a Luthor. Luckily she got hold of the blue prints for the tunnels. Never thought that Lana would consider murder. If Chloe didn't tell her that Clark was also trapped, she would have let Lex die. Serves him right for what he did to her making believe that she was pregnant.

I loved the scene when Lana and Clark was in each other's arms before she went to Lex. I don't care what you guys say but those two are meant for each other. I love the way Lana plays Lex like a violin.

So, Chloe told Clark that Lana would have Lex died but when she found out he was there she jumped to save him. Did I notice some jealousy.

So we know that the soldier isn't dead because they showed him at the end of the episode. One can only wonder what Lex have up his sleave.

The sad news is that Smallville only has three more episodes left. I a read on E-Online a couple of weeks ago that one of the main character's will be killed of. It will be one of these - Clark, Lex, Lana, Lois or Chloe. I have avoided most of the spoilers or Smallville sites not to find out. Please do not say in the comments if you know.

Before I go here are some quotes from the episode:

Lex: Don’t worry, Dad. I still have plenty of land to conquer above sea level before I take on the underworld.
***********************************************************************************
Lana: I wonder how Martha Kent would handle hearing that you used her son as a bargaining chip. Tell me what you know.
Lionel: Well I see you’ve embraced wholeheartedly what it means to be a Luthor.
************************************************************************************
Clark: I saw Lana the day of the wedding and she was gonna leave you. What did you do her?
Lex: I don't know. The answer must have gotten lost in that dark abyss we call my soul.
************************************************************************************

Enjoy the next episode,
Til next time
