Meet the cast of Heroes - Part 3 (No Spoilers!)

We had brief glimpses of them last week, so here's some more juicy info on two new characters we'll get to know better in Heroes Chapter 4 "Collision".

Also check out the rest in the 'series':
Meet the cast of Heroes - Part 1
Meet the cast of Heroes - Part 2

The Haitian

The Haitian – for that is indeed his name, is played by Jimmy Jean-Louis, and is one of the more mysterious characters on Heroes so I'm not sure what I can say about him.

As we saw during his brief appearance last week, he is wearing that now ubiquitous symbol around his neck, so he may know more about this whole thing that anyone else we’ve met so far.

Here's that symbol again if you don't know what I'm referring to...

Also, Matt was met by a wall of silence and a blinding headache when he tried to read the Haitian bloke’s mind. Some viewers have hypothesized over the true identity of the Haitian - he may be Sylar, who Matt had a nasty run-in with already, or Nikki’s still-absent husband and father to Micah, D.L. Hawkins.

Interesting Jimmy Jean-Louis fact: Jimmy is a real-life Haitian and put his exotic good looks to work by modelling for major fashion houses in Milan, Paris and New York.

Where you’ve seen Jimmy before: He’s had roles in action movies like Bourne Identity and Tears of the Sun, had guest roles on Arli$$ and The Shield but, oh my word, he’s also done 7 (ie. SEVEN) of those soft-core Emmanuelle films. Is it just me or is it hot in here all of a sudden?

The Nag

Ok, maybe I’m being a bit unfair but really Janice Parkman (Lisa Lackey), why do you always look so miserable? You’ve got this incredible guy as a husband (Matt Parkman) and you’re rather attractive yourself so enough with the aggro!

Maybe she’ll lighten up once she finds out her husband can read people’s minds? Hmm, I wonder what advantaged that may have for her…

Interesting Lisa Lackey fact: Lisa is actually Australian and joins an ever-growing list of Aussie actors making it big on US TV - Anthony LaPaglia and Poppy Montgomery on Without A Trace and Julian McMahon on Nip/Tuck. She used to be credited as Elizabeth Lackey, but now sticks to Lisa.

Where you’ve seen Lisa before: Medium (she actually appeared on last week’s episode, looking much skinnier than she does on Heroes), NYPD Blue and Home and Away (but of course)
