Lahvee da Loca was created coz I love music, i'm tired of talking to myself when I hear a song or see a music video – i’m also tired of sending “channel 88 / 85 /87” sms’s to my friendz. So the bulb on my head went “ping” and I gave myself a 100watt smile. An idea to see and hear what you think of music videos on TV and anything musically related.
One day I was channel surfing until I got to 88 and caught the last bit of Beautiful Liar - a hot new slow and sensual vid by Beyonce and Shakira. Yep u heard rite - 2 women who move their booties & belly like its jelly!! Now I understand what DC meant when they said “they don’t think we’re ready for that jelly”!!! I saw the whole video last night and …….Wow… I have to say that I’m a woman but I was drooling - okay ke I’m exaggerating, my mouth was dry coz it was opened during the 3,5 minutes music video.

I didn’t have time to listen to the lyrics, I was just mesmerized by the belly moves they were doing. I will join that belly class soon! Singaphela. It's the battle of the bellies!!! to help us see who can shake what their mama gave - Yep its Beeyooncceeee Beyonceeee...ooohh Shakiraaa Shakiraaa!! I can’t stop singing the damn song. Those are the only lyrics I heard. And ohh “it’s-a-beau-tiful- lie!!” which don’t make sense, but who cares - these girls didnt even need to sing - a live demonstration of "actions speak louder than Lyrics". Shakira is a natural, Beyonce on the other hand looks like she’s overdoing it, But then again maybe she has to coz the booty is a bit heavy!! Men will LOVE this video.
The song will be on Beyonce’s B’Day deluxe edition - a re-release of B'Day with an additional CD that has 6 Spanish songs and 3 new English tracks. The album will hit the stores on the 3rd of April. I wonder if we are also getting it on the same day. I didn’t buy B'Day, but I’ll be one of those who’ll make B! more money!! Sigh - some girls have it all!!
Ofcoz another possession that B! has is Jay! I was watching the “THIS DAY NIGERIA CONCERT” on MTV Base and I cant help but get goose bumps every time I see Jigga perform (yes I’m a hiphop fan), the same goose bumps I got when I saw him live on stage. Hbrrrbrr… Jigga?? I think I love you (u sang that line like Dwele right?) - Jigga I’ll be your wife!!!
Other artists that performed included Busta, Ciara, Missy, En Vogue (Yep they are still alive), Snoop Dogg and Nigeria’s artists included 2Face and D’Banj (who took off his shirt - Yoh!!). We need that kind of concert here in SA. Beyonce was also there and she sang Nigeria’s National Anthem beautifully. Hawu B!? u call yourself Mandela’s favorite granddaughter, how come u didn’t sing Nkosi Sikelela for us at the CocaCola Dome?? Start practicing.
Now that its obvious that I love music so much, I always hear songs in my head. Right now Diddy and Keisha Cole - Last night (Press Play) is on repeat up in my brain! Iyang’jova!!
I love radio to bits: I never miss: “The Fresh drive” with DJ Fresh and “The Essence” with Kamza both on 5fm!! And ofcoz "The family” with BadBoy Thomas on Metro!!
