America's Best Dance Crew is an American reality dance competition television series produced by Randy Jackson in which street dance crews from across the USA compete in a weekly elimination format to win $100,000 and the title of "America's Best Dance Crew".

The series aired in the USA on MTV from 7 February, 2008 to 13 June, 2012. There are 67 hour-long episodes in seven seasons.

America's Best Dance Crew aired in South Africa on DStv's GO channel (which became Vuzu on 1 July, 2009) from 17 September, 2008 to 18 September, 2012. See "Seasons" below for seasonal broadcast dates and times.

Season 5 premiered on Vuzu on Tuesday 22 February 2011, at 19h30. New episodes broadcast weekly. There are 12 episodes in the fifth season.

Poreotix were declared the winner of Season 5, defeating Blueprint Cru in the finale.

Season 5

Mark your calendar and clear your schedule, because America's Best Dance Crew is back for a fifth season every Tuesday night! After four seasons, the new crews are ready to step up to the plate with some amazing skills and fresh moves.

The show traveled all across the U.S. to find the country's 15 most talented groups, and they'll be putting everything on the line as they fight for the title of 'America's Best Dance Crew.'

The dancers know they must leave it all on the floor and give it their best to impress the judges. Only one team can be the winner, and they all want it.

Mario Lopez returns as the host of the new Dance Crew season as do judges JC Chasez and Lil Mama. Joining the judging crew will be R&B singer Omarion, hot off the debut of his new album Ollusion, and together they are all ready to critique each week's performances in their search for America's Best Dance Crew.

In the first season, JabbaWockeeZ worked the crowd every week with their synchronized moves and signature masks, and were the first to claim the coveted title of America's Best Dance Crew and the $100,000 cash prize.

The second time around, it was Super Cr3w who stole the show and all of the ABDC glory. Season three was dominated by Quest Crew and all of their masterful performances.

And last season We Are Heroes walked away as the first all-female group to win the title. Which group will be the fifth to join the ranks of the previous four winners?

These fifteen talented and determined dance crews will pop, jump, sway, stomp and step their way to the top. This competition is fierce and they know what's at stake as they face each other in the ultimate challenge for dance supremacy.

The show has shaken things up this season with three regional casting specials to start the competition. Each week, five crews will go head-to-head, with only three making it out of their respective region (East, South and West).

Starting with episode four, the remaining nine crews will show what they're made of. Each week, one crew will be eliminated until only the best remain.

The winner will be announced during the exciting season finale that you will not want to miss.

After the votes are tallied, the two crews with the fewest votes must battle it out on the dance floor in order to get the chance to advance to the next round.

One by one, the groups will be sent home, and in the end, only one group will be able to call themselves America's Best Dance Crew.
